When are new costumes coming to the crown store?

I've seen a few data mined that I'm eagerly awaiting. I was wondering if we might get a heads up on when we might see new costumes? I'm hoping in particular that the mercenary and hero ones are coming very soon!

It's been a while since the last Crown Store Showcase so hopefully there will be a new one soon but I'm not sure when. Anyone know if these are done in a standard time frame or when the next one might be?

They tend to add stuff every month.... but as with all datamined items... subject to change etc etc etc

I'm an absolute fanatic for character customization...so much so that I run non-optimized builds just to get the "look" right.

Accessorizing does matter in MMOs.

But I don't like the cosmetic unitards aka costumes, at all.

Give me a cosmetic tab like they have in LotRO, Rift, etc. and I'll buy stuff from the crown store all day long.

Completely agree with this, a proper cosmetics system is needed, with comprehensive tabs - I've just given up asking for it as I figured ZOS have found it far easier for them doing it their way, regardless of what's best for the player

Think there was another thread that popped up asking about when the next showcase would be but I couldn't find it maybe i just imagined it. Pretty sure there hasn't been any word from ZOS yet when they'll announce.

Orsinium Crown Store content is still fresh, so there won't be anything new for awhile. We might get something for Xmas though if anything before the next DLC brings another theme. Beyond that, only Zenimax can tell lol

I think the pop up ad is only for when things are actually added to the store, don't think it pops up when they announce the upcoming items, not completely sure though.

It'll just be a big pile of Elf and Santa hats, with no Lore explanation whatsoever. Then in true RL Christmas spirit they'll be put on the chuckout trolley and sold for scraps

I am completely against this holiday crap being shoved into ES games. With that said you will be wearing pilgrim and Santa skins riding giant turkeys and reindeer with pet snowmen and north pole elves.

DLC shouldn't make a difference to them wanting to sell items on the store surely?

I just want to know when we can expect the Hero, Mercenary and Akaviri costumes to make an appearance, itching to buy all of them

Actually the reason I did not mention Thanksgiving is because it is less "global" than Halloween and Xmas, at least in rep. Therefore odds are Thanksgiving will not be recognized by Zenimax as anything worth making stuff for, especially since it's right around the corner and we got Orsinium instead lol

Honestly in regards to the 'please no christmas gear' attitude, I see no harm in some mildly festive themed gear. And I mean mild as in, deer-skin clothing, an elk/deer pet, maybe a few rare recipes- nothing lorebreaking, only some small additions to fit the season of winter, and if they must go more definitively holiday styled (which I doubt they will) I trust there are plenty of tasteful ways to do it.

I for one think some humorous additions to the crown store, whilst being immersion breaking, in relation to irl festivities, won't hurt the game as much as people make out it will. Have some fun with it people
