RP Masquerade Party Huge Success

RP is a huge part of the Elder Scrolls and we'd just like to thank the devs for giving us the in game tools to make events like this possible and we hope that you continue to develop things for the RP community. A brawling system would be really cool so we can have some fight nights in the basement of our RP Inn (ala Fight Club I guess).Right now we just stage brawls and have someone announce what "happens" and who the winner is. BUT WAIT! We don't want just brawls, we'd like some cool guild RP features like developing our own clothing style for the guild or banners. Thanks

There's another group of RPers I see outside The Withered Tree in Riften every Wednesday night engaging in "brawls". I don't troll or anything, but yeah, the ability to brawl would be less awkward than a bunch of people standing around staring at each other awkwardly while they type out what they're doing.

I've seen that. Awkward is right. I like to role play but that's a tower too far for me to travel to.

Hey, at least they can type it out. On consoles, we have to do it over voice.

Um, I would have thought that it was easier and better to RP over voice... Granted, I don't RP in-game, but I'm an old-school pen & paper RPer, and actually talking (ie. speaking in character, and describing what you're doing) is how we've always done it...

OP, where are those pictures taken? I can think of a few places that have architecture & layouts similar to that, but I can't place the banners.

All the online RP I have done has been with text chat, descriptive text and dialogue in written form. The live RP stuff is a level beyond anything I could ever be comfortable with.

This was the main hall area of Firebrand Keep, located in Stormhaven in the DC alliance.
