• EU megaservers for maintenance – March 5, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 16:00 UTC (11:00AM EST)
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – March 6, 6:00AM EST (11:00 UTC) - 4:00PM EST (21:00 UTC)

Guild Trader Deadline and Daylight Savings [PS4]

Hi all.

So I just went to throw in a bid for this week and I factored in the daylight savings switches for NA and Aus,

Apparently no one else did and my bid was 15 min late instead of 45 min early,

Now I have a bid down for 7 days away, not happy.

Has this been broadcast anywhere? Was there an announcement? If so then I can wear it, but I missed it if the time change was announced?

    I wonder if the patch on Monday had something to do with it? Last week, it was as normal....

    It wasn't normal last week, as patch dropped at 5am PST.

    absolutely ridiculous that they would change the time of the trader flip without telling anyone. ridiculous

    This is rubbish, I want my bid back. One of my friends (she will be here soon) lodged a ticket for her guild and got an auto reply directing her here AND IT CLOSED IT AS SOLVED!

    I'm not sure if I get you right. Did they change the time when bidding closes relative to utc? Or did you think they would do so because but they didn't?

    I don't recall reading about a change in trader reset in the patch notes. Also, since this is multiple platforms, I don't think it's a patch issue....

    It would seem that the reset time for things like daily quests and guild vendor bids is set to a UTC time, thus when DST comes and goes, the reset will change along with it. DST ended a week ago and thus all of these resets are happening an hour earlier for those that were on DST. This wasn't noticed last week though since maint happened earlier than normal and thus the servers were down when the reset occurred.

    So in short, they didn't change anything. They're just using a bad system since the times should line up with DST so that the resets are always at the same time.

    With all the daylight savings changes in the world in the last month it's somehow gotten messed up.

    Yes, it's early. This week the guild trader bid closed off an hour early and there was no warning that I saw.
