Remember back when ZOS announced they were removing undesirable traits from the loot tables and everyone rejoiced? So how do you think they actually coded that change? Delete the undesirable traits from the loot table and adjust the drop % on the remaining traits accordingly? Hahahaha, no. Given the preponderance of Well Fitted, I'm led to the inevitable conclusion that they made this loot table change in the absolute most lazy ass way possible while still technically maintaining their 'promise' to players.
That's right, the coders most likely just did a "find all" for the traits being removed, replace all" with Well Fitted, patted themselves on the back and called it a day. What this would mean is Well Fittd would come up all the times the RNG would have given you one of the removed traits, and the actual good traits would still drop at the same low rate. In essence exactly what we have now.
Technically ZOS kept their word and removed those traits from the loot table, but they broke the spirit of their promise with a change that did not achieve what players were actually glamour img for - an increase in the drop rate of actually good traits.
Exactly, it pisses me off because they proffer the change to make it sound like they're helping players get better drops, but in actual fact the change does absolutely nothing at all since they just replaced trash traits with one slightly less trash trait. And now that they've made that change, they'll most likely never make another change to the loot table traits since they'll just point and say "look we already made a change for that".Justice31st wrote: »Teargrants wrote: »I'm sure anyone who's been playing since IC has experienced how the majority of gear drops are all in Well Fitted now? The increased crappy trait drop percentage means that you would have to play the game more to get the better trait you need. Bascially, it makes ZOS more money.

It's not keeping people interested, it's making more and more say fu$@ it. We get useless crap over and over. They could replace the traits with something people would actually want to increase diversity.

I agree, ZOS is currently walking a fine line between keeping players addicted from the RNG system, and rage quitting.
