Maelstrom (normal) Jewellery

Hi, i have ran normal mode of Maelstrom around 40 times.
Out of these 40 runs i have completed every single armor set, however Jewellery i have gotten 3 necklaces and ZERO rings! Out of 40 runs, this is astonishing!
Is this correct, or is the drop chance on jewellery and more specifically rings not what it should be? @ZOS_GinaBruno

Thanks

That's just the RNG. I got an Arcane Winterborn ring my first go, and never got another ring since.

This one keeps getting odd armor pieces . Soon all Khajiit will only get one glove and or one boot.

Low drop rates + BOP = Making people play MSA for much longer than they normally would, artificially extending the life of this DLC.

Poor, poor design, IMO. They should simply make the sets (not the weapons) BOE. That would fix multiple problems with the arena. First, the drop rates on jewelry seem way too low. I was excited for this expansion because I thought I'd easily be able to get some low level set jewelry for my BWB characters. At this point, I'm probably not even going to bother and just keep using non-set jewelry. BOE would solve this. Second, its been said many times before, but running MSA is very expensive, and there is really no way to make that money back. BOE would solve this by allowing players to make money of the MSA drops. Finally, keeping the Maelstrom Weapons BOP would give people incentive to keep running MSA to get those drops.

Please ZOS, make the MSA dropped sets BOE. I see no reason why you had to break the precedent which was working perfectly fine to make everything in MSA BOP.

do the rings only drop on a certain stage?
and yeah 40 runs no rings yet multiple sets completed is ridiculous, like they made them a lower chance to get

80 runs, got 1 ring (permafrost), still not the one i want.
1 ring in 80 runs tells me this is more than plain RNG

I have ran it about ten times. I got two rings in the process, a elemental succession and a para bellum one. And I keep running it cuz all I need is the hunt leader belt and jewelry, and can't seem to get those.

Seems to me like they did the whole "make armor pieces drop left and right and make jewelry drop less frequently than Sypher dies to somebody their first time in Cyrodiil" strategy. I had every intention of running nMSA regularly to get set jewelry for my 4 lowbie PVP characters, but after getting 2 jewelry pieces (none of which belong to sets I am interested in) and enough armor pieces to make multiple 5 piece sets, I'm pretty much done with running nMSA already, and will continue to just use under-leveled Warlock so at least I can get something for set bonuses out of my jewelry slots. Maybe if they made the sets BOE so I could actually buy the gear I want and sell the gear I don't want I'd be more inclined to run it, but right now I have no reason to fill my inventory with multiple pieces of The Glorious Defender and Permafrost while never getting the things I actually want out of the arena.

I get that ZOS uses BOP with poor RNG techniques to get players to buy and play the same content over and over and over again until they release the next content RNG grind, but ultimately it has caused me to want to play the content much less than I would have if I could at least sell some of the 5 Girdles of Glory sitting in my inventory.

IMO, making the MSA sets (not Maelstrom Weapons) BOP was the biggest mistake ZOS made with the arena, and simply making them BOE would indirectly alleviate a lot of the issues people have with MSA.
