[SPOILER ALERT]The end of Orsinium's main quest line

I mean, wow. Is that a hint for a possible future DLC or possibly even something bigger, like a full-fledged expansion?

Spoiler for those who don't know what I'm talking about:

After I finished the main quest and got the Kurog costume, Varen appeared out of the blue. Whom I did choose to kill but it was mentioned during the conversation. I just had to talk to him, and he said pretty darn things, something about daedric princes choosing sides right now, and everything is going to begin once (don't remember what) is opened

Anyways, good job ZOS. The first twist in the main quest made my jaw drop, this however rendered me speechles

I literally finished it a couple of hours ago. Played all night long and still haven't slept (11:05am now).

did you also notice that the dwemer public dungeon mission also mentions clock work city, you are suppose to find 3 things, among which a indecipherable book and give it to a snippy guy,. probably the next bad guy ??

First I nearly fell out of my chair when I read Darien's note in the temple library. Even was like "ZOMG! Darien's alive" in my guild chat

And yeah, then the surprise appearance at the end of the main quest.

Talking about a great war in Oblivion with the princes choosing sides, which will begin 'when the Clockwork City of Sotha Sil opens its gates". And there's 3 sides in the conflict to come: Prince of Darkness, Prince of Lies and a 3rd one (don't remember what Varen said) with the other princes choosing between the 3

First guess? Mehrunes Dagon, Molag Bal and Mephala

Oh Sotha Sil is Clockwork City ? Man I am so looking forward to the summer (because Thieves Guild is probably next, then maybe clockwork ?).

mm Mephala had a zone announced so who knows.

also in the house of troubles, the ones who brought most strive against the tribunal, were Mehrunes dagon, Molag Bal, Malacath, and Sheogorath

since we are just after the planemeld era (mannimarco captured (but breaking free), molag bal wounded for least a century)

I think he is out.

Nope, she's not interested in conquest or anything like that. She's a pure mystery.

Namira might be a candidate for the "Prince of Darkness", and it would fit since Mephala is obviously the Prince of Lies. But if we're talking about an actual Oblivion War then I think Molag Bal may be the Darkness. Even a wounded prince still has allies on whom he can count.

I still don't remember what was said about the 3rd prince, something about Ambition I think. Need someone to double check on what was said by our mysterious appearance, but Ambition definitely refers to good ol' Dagon. After all, he doesn't waste a chance to conquer Nirn while the Dragonfires are out

Meridia Might also play a role,. since she was like the sub protaganist against molag bal

Nocturnal: Patron of Darkness
Shows up in the next DLC, Thieves Guild.
Mephala: Sewer of Discord
Shows up in DLC after that, Dark Brotherhood. Possibly with Mephala's Realm.
Boethiah: Great Deceiver
Literally the Prince of Deception; No corresponding DLC known as of yet. Could show up with Clockwork City.
