Maestrom weapons drop

Is it possible to drop Maestrom weapons(blue) in NORMAL mode? Are the weapons found in last chest only?

Do Maelstrom weapons vr15 exist?

I don't think so I believe it's only in vet mode they drop

My guess was that it was the same as in dragonstar arena. Max level dropped in vet only, but the vr13 you got from normal. I would assume that a vr15 would drop in normal, but I have never heard anyone got it.
I did get some vr16 sets tho from last chest normal, but then its better to just farm the first stages of veteran maelstrom or something, because I got a vr16 set after first stage as well.

Last chest in normal mode ALWAYS gives you a vr16 set items....DUNNO if Maelstrom Weapons are on that loot-table .
