I'm a good NB: I only use Cloak to escape a battle Have to, with only 1.3k Mag Regen xD
Might even completely replace it if it gets nerfed, wouldn't care

I rlly don't mind Sorcs (or any other class for that matter). Had my posterior kicked by them several times, and kicked theirs several times too xD

Ppl just need to accept the classes for what they are, and L2P against them in order to counter them

What's wrong with Bolt Escape? A Sorcerer can only cast it so many times before he's out of magicka and a gap closer makes it pointless

That's debatable. They're both considered fairly "OP" at the moment even though neither really are :P

It's cuz we're (supposed to be) the DPS Classes and have all the necessary toys to maximize speed and damage (passives, class executes, sustains: shields for the Sorc and Siphoning for the NB, escape maneuvers,... )

And ofc, ppl seem to forget that we're rather squishy and can easily be killed too. That is, if they'd just L2P instead of making useless rage/nerf threads

Both classes are fine (although maybe the Sorcs pets could be replaced with more useful skills, and the Sorc could have a couple of direct attacks so they don't have to rely on Destro Staff to proc dat Crystal Frag. And ofc, more attention to Stam Sorcs should be given)

meh just do the major ward minor ward thing so they don't stack and it will be fine. sorcs and nbs are high mobility glass cannons. yet magicka sorc can tank people like a boss and to a lesser extent magblade can too. I play stamblade and yes its nice and strong high burst good cc decent escape. def in a good place right now. but when i get caught or if i *** i die pretty much instantly. shield stacking makes *** up too forgiving on a sorc imo.

everyones always hating on stam for having higher damage than magicka (all classes) but they forget is they have so much better survival skills, we only get like 3 cloaks and im guessing stamsorc only gets about 3 streaks before being out of mana(dont know for sure any stam sorcs around?) only people ive seen 1vXing more than 5 people and winning on a regular basis were all magicka builds. mostly sorcs and sometimes nbs and even some templars and dks.

I hope all the sorcs are ready for the inevitable nerf. No way a class has that much burst, survivability, and mobility. The question isn't when are they gonna get nerfed it's what's gonna get nerfed. I vote damage.

They wont. Having 40k dps and bypassing boss mechanics is totally fine.

I guess they might nerf shields all over again. But just to make sure that no shield in the game, besides Hardened Ward, is worth slotting.

I'm however 100% sure they will nerf DK's even more, because clearly they just block to much. Nerfing DK's = ZOS favourite hobby over the last year or so. Why stop now?

Also more templar nerfs incoming, because heal to much, not dying fast enough. Healers not dying instantly is unacceptable, ruins the fun for NB's and sorcs.

I think, IF something needs to be reviewed, than it's Nightblade right now.

Made some suggestions here

But bottomline:
- Make Storm Calling more DPS-like by giving it a few direct attacks so the Sorc doesn't have to rely on Destro Staff
- Recreate the Daedric Summoning completely without pets, and move certain skills like Lightning Form and Splash in there
- Give Stam Sorcs a Stam Morph of Crystal Shards to give them a Burst attack

sorry but cant take anyone seriously who suggests NB's are as powerful as sorcs the damn maelstrom no death and countless videos of sorcs winning 1 v x demonstrate just how powerful they are. does this mean they need a nerf? I dont know I would prefer to see other classess buffed.

While I don't disagree that sorcs are in a good place, you also need to consider who is playing them. I tried Maelstrom on my sorc and I'm pretty bad at PVE (and pvp too probably...). Died many times. Some people are really good players and can make a class look OP when it's not. But I definitely agree with you they should really buff other classes instead of nerfing. Stop the nerfs!

So many times? Yeah 6 times in a row really isn't many. Or you know. Tap it geice, be out of the range of gap closers. Tap twice again, be a mile away from everyone else..

Few simple fixes they could do to balance the game.

Removed shield stacking

Remove sorc shields scaling stupidly high with magicka, atm hardened is nearly 3-4 the strength of other shields, the scaling needs to be reduced, it's already stupidly easy to stack magicka, as per the chap in the other section that had 56k magicka and 3700 odd spell power.

They need to fix it so at a rough amount of 40k magicka, it's capped at say a 6k shield in pvp, not the 13-15k I've seen.

Buff green dragon blood, give dks a stam attack that isn't a DoT.

Fix jabs so that it applies it's damage to shields.

Infact fix all the stupid templar bugs.

Then the game will be balanced, I love my templar, I do great with all of them.

But there's no denying since I've made a sorc, the game is stupid mode, everything is a walk in the park, even PvE I can burn down bosses incredibly quick, as well as feeling immortal with a huge bubble protecting me.
