The Saxhleel Herbivore

Is there any one else that only consumes drinks and food that are made from plants. I have been maintaining this habit 98% of my time in Morrowind, oblivion, Skyrim and now Tamriel Unlimitied.
Am aware of the popular response of "it's just a game, it doesn't matter." Am aware of the logistics, my decision, like my play application, is influenced by my actual character and my entertainment. I like maintaining patterns, principles and structures, and I appreciate the ability to only deal with herbs and be able to produce effecting tools.
Any other Tamriel Herbivores or wanna be Herbivores?

Nope, I'm a vegetarian but in a RPG I play a character, not myself.
Some of my characters lie, murder or steal. All of them accept killing as a means to an end. Quite unlike me ( I like to think).
Babeester Gor is the Axe Goddess, the Implacable Anger, the Avenging Daughter and the Earth Guardian.
    Vriddi gra-Yildnarz, Dragonknight and Smith
    Myrvanwe, Sorcerer and Enchanter
    Tsajirra, Nightblade and Clothier
    Vilvyni Indarys, Dragonknight and Woodworker
    Arielle Alouette, Templar and Provisioner
Fishes in Troubled Waters, Nightblade and Alchemist
Shanika Some Long Title I'd Change If I Could, Templar and Aspirant Jeweller
Pippi Longhorn, Nightblade, Ne'er-do-well, and "Tribute" character
    EU PC.

I find we all portray a character we aspire to be, that is opposite or reciprocal to us or a character the reflects us presently. Which one would you say you are? (@babeestorGor)

Not a character that reflects me. Part of the fun of roleplaying for me is playing someone unlike myself although I do need to feel some sympathy for the character so no sadists who kill for pleasure for me. Still some of my characters have held beliefs I wouldn't agree with like my Dunmer in MW who supported enslavement of lesser races for their own good.

This is why i like the variety of decisions provided in most story lines in Elder Scrolls. Options allow for customization.

+1 this. I TRIED playing an evil scumbag in Skyrim once; I was uncomfortable for most of the playthrough. :/

Some day I might try and play a strict Green Pact Bosmer but for the time being it seems too micro-manage-y to be fun. (Can't eat bread, most alcohol, or anything else with fruit or vegetables in it. Can't harvest alchemy regents that are plants. Most ES games don't give you the option to eat your kills so that would be out by default. I'm a little sketchy if that character would be allowed to fight Spriggans and other plant-based monsters.)

My first Skyrim character held on to every holy symbol he found, under the belief that buying and selling symbols of the gods was disrespectful. (He also avoided picking up tomatoes, but that's because they look disgusting in Skyrim. :P) My ESO main will rob the Pact and the Covenant with abandon, but not the Aldmeri Dominion, the Mages' Guild, the Fighters' Guild, or the Stargazers (and by extension the city of Belkarth, since that would impact them).

Very interesting, the flipsode perspective of only eating animals. I didn't do one the bosmer clan missions just because of their emphasis on animal eating.
The "I TRIED" part was funny. Regardless of how momentarily fun certain actions are, if their too different then who we are our want to be, they'll eventually fade from our routine or be discontinued completely.
At first it is difficult to maintain that pattern(Green pact in your specific reference), yet like many things, it would become easier the more it becomes routine. Agreed, it is micro-manage-y. Some will like it some not.
I use to rob everything in Morrowind. Even before leaving the dock house, i took forks and glasses to sell. Now I'm looking forward to capturing thieves. If a bounty system occurs that allows players to capture serial player thieves, I'd be that hunter.

March 2018, champ 505 and still have persisted my herbivore vibes. It must be that Saxhleel determination in the Hist blood.

That makes me part cold blooded serial killer and part life restoring healer.

    Interesting mix

Funny. How current perspectives may generate emotional responses for past events that had non.

Look on the bright side. Next update will not throw your character into "combat" when you kill the defenseless fauna around Tamriel. You'll soon be able to immediately harvest that node or treasure chest after slaughtering a deer or fox. Why is this good? Less time for introspection and/or guilt to set in before you're all like, "Oooh. Look at the shiny stuff!"

Well, since I always need at least a health pool boost with mine, it's hard to avoid meat.

But think about it this way: What if plants are as sentient as animals? Just because they don't scream when they are hurt, or have cute eyes looking back at us and thus invoke empathy within us as animals do? What makes plants so evil, that we chew on them without any remorse and consider other beings as more worthy of living?
You reveal yourself best in how you play.
