My dreams finally came true, and I saw Elloa in Wrothgar. Unfortunately I stood there for 20 seconds awkwardly before getting on my Guar and riding away without saying much. Smooooth.
You guys ever met someone you've always wanted to see from the forums? I hope your encounter was less awkward than mine. Sorry Elloa! xD

I've encountered a few people in-game who I know from the forums, and a few people on the forums who I know from in-game. It's always nice to make that connection - especially when you get a chance to group up with them and run a dungeon or something.

I was going to screenshot it so I could remember the day I met Elloa, but I went braindead for 20 seconds before I rode off
Hah, no official achievement, but it's one I can cross off my personal list now!

I am still waiting to be recognized or to recognize someone. Im on xbox so I have really low expectations for that to ever happen.

Esp as im usually all alone hmm which would be better a smiley face or frownie? Choices...

I ran into Fengrush once in the IC sewers...he proceeded to kill everyone in my group of like 8 people. But he seemed to like my friend Larz because she was a little harder to kill so whispered her then friended her after killing us like 6 more times in row.

Long time gone,I used to know the original Alice Cooper group.Pretty well.I hadnt seen any of them but for Alice who lives here in Phoenix (Paradise Valley actually). I was at a AC concert in Connecticut and during the after party,I heard Dennis Dunaways voice say hello.I turned around and choked up.Couldnt talk till tears formed.
I managed a "I gotta go or I'll make a fool of myself".Shook hands and booked.
Later he walked up behind me and said "It's ok,ya know.I make a fool of myself all the time"
Dennis has been my hero forever.

[EDIT] And yes, I actually was able to meet up with some folks from the forums on the PTS for IC and ran a dungeon, and hit up IC! 'Twas great fun!

That's awesome. I loved AC when I was a child, and still do to this day. Heh, my situation was exactly the same as yours - I need to get out of here before I say something stupid.. though the awkward silence accomplished that for me.

He's DC or at least he was that night, Larz and I play AD. I knew when I saw him I was toast because I was on my low DPS DK PVE tank build that's built mostly for CC. I'd hit him with talons and ash cloud and he'd chuckle (I'm assuming) and roll out then chew my face off. The few times I landed a solid sword or flame lash hit did little damage.

Oh now I remember her. I found her vid with ESO emotes very helpful and even saved it to my favourites just in case Taking into account this whole excitement I thought she is a dev or something
Btw a couple of weeks ago when I was questing in Coldharbour I ran into the character who I couldn't interact with and who was following me for some time. I was even more confused when I realised that he was not attacked by any enemies unlike me. He didn't help me at all, just was following and observing me. Could it be a dev? I heard that these are marked with "Z" symbol but that character wasn't marked like this.

I had just logged in a moment before and I was jumped by and I promptly killed some random nightblade as I left the safety zone of an Imperial City districts instance a couple weeks ago. I was immediately messaged by this person who said: "No way.....it can't really be you. I just subscribed to you on Youtube.....can you kill me again?" That was probably the most awkward moment I've had in ESO. I checked my email and sure enough he just subscribed. It seems the world of ESO is getting smaller by the day. And on that last day....when it is just me and Eric Wrobel left.....he will have nowhere left to hide ( =

Hmm I wouldn't think so. I'd imagine all ZOS staff would have the [z].. not that I've ever actually seen one online. Sometimes there's quests you can achieve that will make surrounding mobs non-aggressive towards you, like the Vampires there for example.

Lmao. "Can you kill me again. I want to feel death by your hands once more". I can see how that could be kind of awkward. I guess it's just nice to meet people I've seen on the forums regularly, but never met in game before. No doubt I'd be awestruck to face you, however brief it might be. But don't worry, I wouldn't ask you to kill me again

I really need to get on the PTS (haven't been bothered downloading it yet!). Maybe when I do I can cross off my "Met MissBizz" achievement too. Prepare for the awkward silence if it ever happens.

No, has nothing to do with "celebrity status". It was the first time I've met a forum regular and someone heavily involved with the ESO community, so kinda surprised me.
