Ultimate Add-on Build

Precious
Hi guys! So I'm a returning player here and I had a lot of addons that are now out of date so I was wondering if there was a particular bunch of addons that everyone is grabbing these days. I still like the minimalist look but want some more information and I used to run a lot of 'wykkyds' addons.

Thanks a lot!

Here's my list (Note: you'll probably not want all the stuff from FTC as it's the utter opposite of minimalistic):

    -Advanced UI
    -Foundry Tactical Combat (FTC)
    -Harvens Stack Split Slider
    -Inventory Grid View
    -Master Merchant
    -Rare Fish Tracker
    -Slightly Improved Experience bar
    -Votans Fisherman
    -Votans Fish Fillet
    -wykkyds Enhanced Hud
I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

    DC - PC - EU - Australian
VR11 Mrderrikk: Breton Stam Sorc (Vamp) | VR16 Derrikkinblack: Dunmer Mage DK | VR3 Cuts-Until-It-Dies: Argonian Magicka NB

    Oh look, Anook.

Is it better to use minion or curse client for addons? And all the addons updated e.g. 11/02/2015 are fine? ><

Minion works very well well but I guess they are about the same (ie both do what they are supposed to do)
    Better late Than Pregnant....
The shadow cabinet, a group of people who pretend to have jobs they do not actually have

    EU PC - Azura's Star

I use the in-game addon loader, and I actually haven't updated any of these since IC; probably should...
They're pretty popular so you should be able to get the latest soon, if not now

It usually happens after a big patch (Imperial city last time, now Orsinium). After I started to play the IC, all my addons died and were not functional. It got updated after a few days furtunatelly. Just turn off those that are not working. Click "accept out-of-date addons". And wait few days until they get updated.

I use Minion addon client, there I can see when there is a new update to all addons.

If you wait until today evening, I can post here my screenshot of all my addons that I use ;o)

Awesome! I know for World of Warcraft addons get updated pretty much everyday and I was just a bit nervous going into this game about that I was going to choose some good addons but they never get updated. Good to know that theyre pretty ontop of it still though :P

    AUI
    Azura
    Combat Cloud
    Wykkyds toolbar and chat

This is the most minimalistic in terms of UI I've been able to keep it, while still having all the same information available to me as the extremely cluttered UIs you see on youtube/twitch

I obviously have a lot more add ons, but these are the only ones you see on screen

Why do you want to hide the compass?! To me that'd be chopping off my arms

I just checked and found out I use 33 addons, lol.

However I don't use all of them all the time, and in fact some of them I hardly use at all now.

    -advanced filters
-AUI (only for the smooth minimap)
    -awesome guild store
    -combat cloud
    -crafting material level display
    -Cyrhud (only if you PvP)
    -extGroup leader (only PvP)
-FTC (only for the advanced hotbar option)
    -harvens extended stats
-harvestmap (only when actively looking for mats, otherwise turn it off as it can cause low fps )
-lootdrop (still better than the new included version from ZoS)
-lui extended (my preferred buff tracker and a few other things)
    -skyshards and lorebooks (naturally)
-no thank you (turn off soooo many annoying fullscreen messages, or send them to your chat box instead)
    -sous chef
-wykkyds suite manager (installs all of wykkyds addons, but I only use 2-3. He had to leave the game btw :( )

Minion works great to manage the updates. Just run it as administrator (something I have to do now that I am on Win 10 for some reason) and it updates everything within seconds. I do it once a day, before playing.

I went through everything that was available in Minion a few months ago. I use quite a few addons, and here's a list of the ones I find most useful personally.

If you don't want the compass there is : "No Compass" that allows you to toggle it on and off with commands

    -- Inventory --
Advanced Filters - much easier to find things with subcategory tabs
Crafted Potions - looted = white, one trait = green, two traits = blue, 3 traits = purple
Dustman - auto sell ornate, mark junk to auto destroy, etc
FCO Item Saver - mark things you want to sell, lock items so you can't deconstruct or learn
Harven’s Stack Split Slider - so you don't have to click the plus button a million times
Harven’s Stolen Filter - separate tab for stolen items if you are a theif
Inventory Grid View - view more at once instead of scrolling down a long list
Mer Quickslot Filters - easier to see what you want to add to your quickslots
Mobile Bank Extened - check what is already in your bank from afar (though no deposit/withdraw)
Wykkyd Equipment Borders - shows quality, heavy/medium/light, and repair status at a glance

    -- Guild Store --
Awesome Guild Store - makes searching for things much easier
(yeah I don't do that much trading so I haven't looked into more of these)

    -- Map --
Crafting Stations - shows locations of hidden crafting stations on world map
Destinations - shows locations for delve bosses, various achievements, lots of options
Dungeon Levels - show min level and which characters have completed it in tooltip
Harvest Map - marks where you found material nodes, chests, and heavy sacks
Lorebooks - helps you locate all mages guild lore books
Lost Treasure - small post-it map or compass pin for crafting surveys and treasure maps
Mini Map - so you don't have to keep opening the big map
Mundus Map - shows where the mundus stones are located
Public Dungeon Champions - marks these on the map so you don't miss any, shows completed ones
Skyshards - helps you locate skyshards you may have missed (also helps find the dungeons they are in)

    -- Combat --
Combat Indicator - compass outline becomes red when in combat
Denidil’s Ultimate Counter - shows numbers above your ultimate in the skill bar: accumulated/cost of current ult.
Gear Swap - set a secondary set of gear that is automatically equipped when you swap to secondary weapon
Greymind's Quickslot Bar - shows bar similar to your skill bar with your quickslotted items
Harven's In Combat Audio Volume - if combat sound effects are too loud for people sleeping while you play at 3am
Harven's Potion Alert - auto selects H/M/S potion based on attribute bar percent, tells you when cooldown is done
OmNomNom! - notifies you when your food or drink buff has run out, useful in the chaos of dungeon battles
Ultimate Compass - adds embellishments on the ends of your compass when your ultimate is full - easy to see

    -- UI Convenience --
Bait Informer - tool tip tells what type of water the bait is good in
Circonian’s TweakIt - world map zoom, auto-remove waypoints, craft improvement default to 100%, and much more
Crit Percent - in tooltip adds percentage next to number of critical added, and command to see character's crit
Dye Station Acheivement Links - so you can see what you need to unlock a dye
Harven’s Improved Skills Window - shows current vs. next rank tooltips for passives, xp numbers inside skill bars
No Accidental Stealing - so you don't accidentally steal that helmet when you meant to talk to Lorbash
No thank you! - hide guild roster alerts, block target immune notifications, open map while harvesting, etc.
Spent Skill Points - shows how many points you have spent where so you don't have to count them
Photographer - set key for screenshot without UI, option to auto-shoot certain events like achievements
Target Lookup - class, alliance, and colored level by other players' health bars, minimal and informative
Theif's Knapsack - like wykkyd's toolbar, but for thief information, fence timer, stolen items carried, etc.
Votans Acheivements Overview - replaces overview with recently worked on achievements, no expanding needed
Wykkyd Full Immersion - lots of options to hide things, show helmet only in battle, auto-sheathe
Wykkyd Toobar - frame rate, xp percent, horse feed timer, gold carried, bagspace, weapon charge, research timer, etc.

    Crafting Addons
AI Research Grid - track all characters' research, simpler than Craft Store
Alchemist (update 6) Escape Bug Fixed - helps new alchemists learn traits by suggested combinations
Better Glyph Tooltip - shows strength based on type of armor piece
Crafting Material Level Display - tells you armor level an ore is used for, also gives rune and alchemy information
Craft Store - research, motifs, recipes, horse training for each character, lots of info
ESO Master Recipe List - easily check which recipes you know and which you still need
Harven’s Trait and Style - tooltips include style (orc, daedric, etc.) and "researchable"/"researching"/"known"
Khrill Crafting Post-it - at bank and craft station flip through all writ requirements for each character
Wandelize for Khrill Crafting Post-it - makes it match the game UI better, and option to color code each character
MultiCraft - adds a slider and then it will automatically craft that many, no tediously hitting E, go get a snack
Research Assistant - colored symbols in list for ornate, intricate, researchable, multiple of same trait, etc.
Sous Chef- set main provisioner, track which recipes you know
