As an Orc since day 1, I have been eagerly anticipating the Orsinium expansion since I heard it was coming.

Now that its here, as I progress through the quests and absorb the zone detail, I have to say, Zen did an AMAZING job. The quests are rich and detailed, the terrain is beautiful, the architecture is even more beautiful. I think the thing that they got right the most in this zone, however, was the ability to play it at any level. Its really awesome that I can play with friends who are not even 1/4 my level and not feel like I'm working a charity service.

I would really love to see this feature brought to the greater game. There is so much content in the old continents that I just have no ambition to grind through because there is limited benefit. Quests don't give much exp, nodes don't give adequate resources, item rewards are for old vr levels. It would be great if players could alternatively play any zone as a battle leveled vr16 zone, with level scaling nodes/crafting resources like in Wrothgar. Along side that, it would be great if the PvE zones would allow cross faction play to boost the PvE player base.

Anyway, thanks so much for a great expansion. You can really see how hard you worked on it.

    They need to buff craglorn....buff the rewards and exp to similar and you just basically made a 2nd Orsinium for "group mmo" content.

    Of course that would not make them any money....so I will go back to ignoring craglorn because no one plays it anymore...

    Your idea makes good game design sense but if the whole game was like Orsinium, then there would be no incentive for people to buy the new DLC....or still some but not as much incentive...

    Means less $$ for ZOS and they will never do it...

    They need to leave the original 1-50 area alone. That is the base game. But if they updated all of Cadwell's silver and gold for Vet content to be just like Wrothgar then I'm down for it.

    I don't like multi faction gameplay though. I'm an EP loyalist. I want to play with others of my faction. I want to (storywise) be helping the EP as well as PVP wise helping the EP. It's more immersive that way.

    On October 27th SWTOR did a big overhaul to the game with the new expansion. What I liked more is that now when you go on a planet lvl 25/30, whatever level you are you get your level adjusted and so the xp. That makes you play with low levels friends and get new enthusiasm on forgotten planets. Other solution is that all maps become like orsinium, where the mobs are of your same level. They should also introduce new story arcs with new achievements and costumes on old maps.

    What I would like to see is the new dynamic battle scale system work for craglorn, cadwells silver, and cadwells gold. This new scaling algorithm is a good step in the right direction for finding the appropriate way of removing veteran ranks, even if it needs much more time still

    I've said since early beta that The Elder Scrolls Online should have level scaling. May it be by scaling down to the level of the zone (GW2, Wildstar or FFXIV model) or create a battlelvl system...No matter. What works.
    But to give more re-playability to the game, the game need to be more flexible, and Orsinium proved to be just right regarding this.

    My boyfriend and I started new character to level in orsinium. He is few level higher than me. but this doesn't matter cause we can play together despise the level difference. This mean, that my boyfriend can play his character without me aswell. He do not need to wait for me. This is so convenient and relaxing. But once we will be done with orsinium, we will not be able to play together (on those character) anymore.

    So yeah, I totally agree. if it's possible to create a system to remove the inconvenience of level, that would be neat!

    The feature of Orsinium that diff Vet levels can meaningfull play together is perhaps the prelude of removal of the Vet levels

    implicating that it could be applied to all 50+ area's :)

    I can understand that, but the story itself places you playing from all faction perspectives and the three banners war is largely centralized in cyrodiil. Not to mention the many cross faction guilds that do not represent any particular faction interest.

    Just something to think about.

    Yes I think the big problem is that overhauling the zones itself is an expense that does not generate revenue. It would probably need to be marketable somehow -- but that is definitely something they could work on!

    Right. It places you playing as an AD or DC after the base game in the Cadwell portion so that would be fine. But until the main quest is finished it serves no purpose to cross the factions in the 1-50 area. I'd rather have character faction xfers in the crown shop instead of playing with non loyalists.

    The only compliments Zos get's is towards the design and creative team's. Then you got the slum's of Zos known as the Pvp balance team.

    Not to disrespect your play style at all (I fully respect loyalism), but just because you don't want to play with them, doesn't mean they stop existing ^_^

    Man, I love the levelling in Orsinium. To be able to ignore the same old content progression in the base game and skip straight to Orsinium, no matter the area or level, was a breath of fresh air.
    They seemed to have thought of everything in terms of the scaling. For example, if you're really low level, you get increased stats to make up for the lack of skills and passives. To make things better, every bit of gear counts with battle levelling, making our builds truly customised and personal.
    Everything I drop is also my level. No longer will I drop a VR7 item I really want to use, but I'm VR4.
    If this is things of what's to come, I can't wait to see what's next.
