I'm VR3 (the dungeon is VR4) and I've split my attribute points between stamina and magicka (since I use both equally).

I'm capable of soloing most content myself, but public dungeons are a huge problem for me. I can't take on 6+ enemies at once because of my low max health.

What's your class, weapon and general attack patterns?

I have soloed most stuff with my Sorc and DK, both using Destro staffs (1 a Resto for Sorc) and balancing between Magicka/Health. For public dungeons I really like running into a big group with an AOE DOT, and then running in circles doing AOE and healing when needed.
I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

Being xbox 1 on EU.. you are the minority. That's just how it is man.. best bet is to switch to pc where there is more players.
I would recommend finding a guild at least

On the bright side this game is solid and i suspect it will bring in more players once people see what this game is all about.

Yeah...I am aware of the whole "minority" thing, but the fact that I can't play with people from other factions or servers is only making it worse. I don't have a pc capable of running this game.

This will change (at least for Group Dungeons) with Orsinium when that reaches Consoles. Pretty much everything else is actually soloable, discounting everything in Craglorn and the Orsinium World Bosses

Going by my experience, and I am sure many can resonate with this, Crag is nerfed to hell and has been not long after they released it last year, back then. it was actually hard.

Now, it is more than easy to solo pretty much everything bar Trials

Orsinium World Bosses are difficult however hahah.

I included Craglorn simply because of the silly group quest checks with the standing on platforms; I've managed to solo most of the Delves at VR9 so I know it can be done now :P

    Hehe good man.

OP not sure about your build or anything, but try using decent AoEs like Steel Tornadoe, that will shred mobs down fast.

What this guy said; Steel Tornado for Stamina, Elemental Ring for magicka

Thats why we need Holidays to bring life into zones and not to mention Stealing should give CPs, currently stealing is 100% pointless, you get 1000 times faster gold from IC. Also if they put somekind of Outlaw Service, that you can do global search for auction houses, people would travel around the zones, for example, you do global search for an item, you know its in Stonefall, you go there. Also this game needs group-finder for low level stuff too, so high lvl players go there to help new players and fill the zones, Ive suggested "request" system.

Here's my opinion: You got to learn to read more.

Here's the reason: ZOS already implement new system on group searching tool that allows grouping with people of different factions. What's more, those players are scaled to the dungeon level requirement (the dungeon requirement follows the leader's level).

Here's what you must do: Start using group search tool.

Stealing is 90% pointless, as it both ranks your Legerdemain for the wonderful stealth movement penalty reduct, and gives you achievements for dyes. Other than that i agree with you

Fishing is one way to bring life into zones I'd imagine. They just needs to make it so high-levels needs to go to low level zones too.

Master Angler? It's only a temporary solution but it works for the insane amount of grinding needed to get the rare fish.

Might be an odd opinion, but I actually like it when it's less packed. I'm a solo player through and through and bought the game not because I'm a MMO fan, but because I'm an Elder Scrolls fan.

Hate nothing more than going into a delve and finding everything dead because a few players have gone through and cleared things out. A selfish opinion I know, but it's an annoyance nonetheless. I'm aware this means I won't get much out of Cyrodiil or IC, but things being less full everywhere but Wrothgar allows me to go through Silver/Gold feeling like the one soulless hero, which makes things much more immersive.

    DC, xbox, EU.

Daggerfall is still like central London.

There's still a mass of people on THAT fountain, selling dwarven oil in their state of undress while some awful dance, Dunster or 90s pop tune plays in the background.

Belfast is always has a decent number of people doing writs.

Undaunted enckave in stormhaven still has a large amount of people spamming their "pick me!" skills.

Even while doing silver, I've seen a decent amount of people.

Game feels very much alive thiis end

You must also write the platform where you play in the title, i read xbox in signature...because on Eu pc serv. , Daggerfall side, it's very healthy during primetime.

This, on PC-EU it's very busy, every time I log in on my AD character there's +20 people standing around nearby, wherever I go i'm never alone for long, I can be fighting in the middle of nowhere and there will almost always be someone running past. It's a little quieter in silver and gold though, but not that much.

It seems everyone's on EU PC that's commenting :P (exaggeration, but at least it shows we have a healthy server pop)

Fair enough. It's true that over population can be just as much of an issue as under population. I personally agree that I don't like having to deal with heavy crowds but my concern is that some mechanics were clearly built around the assumption that there would always be people available and interested in participating so it multiple people were required. The idea was true initially perhaps but won't hold so well as time goes by.

There are some things where you need more than one other person to progress further because you may need to activate switches at the same time but they're all placed on opposite ends of the room from each other. Something like that would make it impossible for a single person to progress through. While that's understandable for things like group dungeons (i.e. Direfrost Keep where you need at least one other person to activate a pair of pressure plates), content where grouping is optional (yes grouping may be recommended for public dungeons but it is not mandatory) should not have such impediments.

Imagine if dolmens required you to have four people hit the pinions all at the same time in order to complete it. World bosses had some mechanic where after you defeated a boss you couldn't actually clear the objective until you finished some kind of binding ritual that required four people. What if we didn't have solo bosses at the end of a quest chain and you needed a full party of people to beat them?

That's a lot of content people would be missing out on as population shifts and old content becomes defunct. Things like that should at some point be altered so that players won't be blocked from completing content just because no one is around to help them out.

Take for instance The lost city of Na-Totambu. In order to complete the group challenge multiple people need to stand on pressure plates in a specific order. Not doable by a single person as a result of how it's set up. And it's not a hugely popular public dungeon, so there's not a lot of foot traffic or groups forming up for it, especially if your doing it as part of Cadwell's silver/gold.

With the release of Orsinium and Wrothgar being a scaling zone, it's a far more appealing alternative to Cadwell's zones. If future releases feature similar scaling, interest in vet zones will plummet and if you want to finish The lost city of Na-Totambu as part of those zones, well, your effectively SOL.

To compensate for low population they could at the very least restructure the group challenge by making it so that a player still has to stand on the plates in order but the plates are now spread throughout the dungeon and they have a time limit to hit them (maybe 180 seconds from one to the next). It's a soloable alternative that isn't super easy.
