Why am I getting writs for below my crafting skill?

I have all crafts at level 50 and 10/10 in them as well. Yet I only get writs for Kresh, Calcinium, and Birch.

And to provide some other interesting finds... I am able to see the tier 10 materials in the zone.

So clearly something is bugged here. I should be able to craft the highest possible writs if my skill is 10/10. At least I can see the tier 10 nodes until this gets fixed.

✭✭✭✭When I was doing max level writs on a non-vet character, they maxed out at birch etc. because I couldn't get to Craglorn to turn in max level writs, so it defaulted to Coldharbour writs.

So yeah, it is because you are level 37, not vet rank. As soon as you hit VR1 which allows you to travel to Craglorn, you will be given max level writs.
That's not how it used to work. Back then the max you could do is ebony, ebonthread, and yew. Calcinium, birch, and kresh wasn't possible until you did hit V1.
So why would that change now1
