As someone who has been doing professional landscape photography for years I often find myself stopping and admiring the land around me.

There are so many places where the lay of the rocks or how the sun shines around a mountain are exactly right.

Amazing work done by artists that doesn't get enough recognition.

There's still the odd time when riding somewhere there's that beautiful bloom of a sunny day thru the trees and somehow the music hits just the right sweep at just the right moment... love it still

I am not a 'gamer' The only video games I have ever had any interest in playing were Oblivion and Skyrim, and now of course ESO. There have been so many things that catch me and make me pause like the heat waves off of a camp fire rippling the scenery behind it or the way the sun glints off the water. I get excited when im due to go back to a place I really appreciated before, like Leki's Blade in Alik'r. There is something so dramatic about that statue in the desert, I get that feeling like I'm visiting the Sphinx in our world.

Nope. I like the scenery. I do not embrace it, though.

Maybe I will on an alt at some point.

This is truly a gorgeous game. There are only 2 things that could make it better for me. One would be being able to re-enter many of the areas that become locked once you have completed the quest and the other is PLAYER HOUSING. I want my own little gorgeous plot of land in this amazing world to build my home on!

There are a few zones that are not so nice.

But even though I feel a little nerdy for it, I ran around Auridon and Reaper's march looking for places that I would build a house if they were real.

Elden Root in Grahtwood is still one of the most amazing things I've seen in the game but the earth forge is also at the top of that list. Sometimes I wander around just taking screen shots of all the nice scenery and sometimes I just have to stop and admire the work and thought that must have gone into some of the areas. I love this game.

I love early mornings and seeing the sunrise over the water/near docks. So far Auridon is my favorite place. Though I haven't made it too far into the game yet. I take tons of screenshots too. :)

    All the time.

I heavily RP my characters, so sometimes just strolling through the countryside as his form of "taking a break" can lead to breath-taking moments.

There's something about a sunrise/sunset at the end of an ash storm in Stonefalls that just makes me appreciate my love of the Dunmer all over again. :)

    Just started Cadwell's Gold.
    Auridon is beautiful!
Since starting the final Cadwell quests I've slowed down.
Much more fishing and just riding around taking in the sites.
The great soundtrack combined with the grand vistas is very soothing to me.

GRRRR I get so mad about these! Not even so much around the 'borders' of a zone, but right smack dab in the middle of a zone, just so that I can't hop up a cliffside, I have to do the typical ES process of running for days around a mountain to get to a point 10 yards away!

ESO on ultra settings is by far a better looking game than un-modded Skyrim. Now Skyrim with graphics mods is another story entirely... But it's always going to be possible to make graphics better on a single player game than an MMO.
