Bow DPS champ points tests - Precise strikes might not be working correctly and Shadow Mundus is low
So Im one of those crazy stamina sorc bow PVE DPS ppl (yeah i know, strange). As most bow users know, prior to Wrothgar patch poison bow abilities would scale off of elborn for more crit damage. With testing it now scales off of precise strikes. I ran a few pledges and noticed my DPS is quite a bit lower than usual, so I got a 6 pack of adult beverage and took it to the spreadsheets! Here is what I found out:
So testing the champ points (and spending gold) Thaumatarge is ok at 25% with 100 champ points but 100 in precise strikes is only 16.66% more damage on crits, when the tooltip states 25%. On top of that, the Shadow Mundus stone is only giving an 8% crit damage boost with no divine traits on gear.
All the tests were done on horkers that have 0 armor mitigation (base damage with no champ points or mundus hit for same amount reflected on the tooltip). I also tested armor/spell pen on an ogre in Wrothgar, but he might not have any armor or spell mitigations.
To conclude, set aside human error, it looks like either the champ point tooltip for Precise strikes is wrong, or the passive isnt working as intended and the shadow mundus isnt as high as it used to be.

I did test out the Piercing champ skills later last night and they do infact work, but my math isnt strong enough to see if they are penetrating the right percentages. Dont know the armor values for the scorpion boss near DSA. So any devs, moderators out there pass this along to the team and let them know of my findings concerning Precise Strikes. Would be good to see that fixed or the tooltip changed.0
