Taking Aim etc. in Craglorn - working as intended?

Taking Aim and similar archer power attacks in Craglorn no longer seem to be avoidable - rolling and dodging doesn't seem to shake the targeting and Dark Cloak doesn't cancel the attack either. Is this the way it's meant to be?
