Provisioning Writ rewards are bugged!

So, after spending many many many hours lagging my way through Orsinium looking for the new recipes required for the fancy new high end Provisioning Writ, I finally get it done, do the turn in, and get my Provisioning reward. Upon opening it, I find a bunch of Provisioning mats and a LOCKPICK! No Psyjiic Page, of which I've only received ONE of in the past 45 days. No crappy green recipe, or any other recipe. No Perfect Roe, since you've decided to add a 10,000 gold fishing reward as a recipe ingredient. No, I got A FREAKING LOCKPICK!

So, obviously this is a bug. The question is, and yes I've still got the unused Provisioners Pack in my inventory, how is this going to be updated or fixed? How can I get an APPROPRIATE, even if crappy, reward in place of this stupid LOCKPICK?

How quickly will this be fixed? If this is what we have in store for us until the next patch, I'll just go back to the boring Craglorn writs. At least I stand a snowball's chance in you know where of getting something useful as a reward.

There's this thing called RNG. It will either rain on you or bathe you in sunlight. I got a new Wrother recipe and a Psijic frag, both I don't need. I got mostly crap from equipment writs, but the items were v15. And I did get a gold temper and a survey. Kiss the Blarney Stone and pray to RNGesus.

I get being hated by the RNG gods but LOCKPICKS and worthless white trash should NOT be in provisioner writ reward packs.

I opened 5 writ containers and got nothing but a few surveys. I'm not mad though.

Why would you get ore or a lock pick as a reward? That's ridiculous. Just give your normal crappy rewards with a chance for something nice.

You can keep your lock picks. As matter of fact you can have a stack of mine.

Psyjic pages are super rare. I got 2 in over 60 writ bags, the rest I bought.

Perfect Roes drop exclusively from fishing. Very rare as well, about 1 per 100fish stack.

Provisioning writs guarantee that you get about 40 mats (which is nice) and a decent chance to get epic mats (which is even nicer). Considering that the only way to generate epic mats is through provisioning writs, you (or somebody) must be doing them always. It IS useful and needed.

Getting a lockpick in your first day of provisioning writs is nothing more than a strange (and to some extent even funny) occurence. That's no reason for raging & flaming about it.

Oh, and BS writs grant BS stuff. Sometimes great (Glass Motif pages & Resource Maps) sometimes crappy (just ores & random gear). But that's the nature of RNG. Nobody is forcing you to do it. It is widely known that usually writs are a gold sink. But we like gold sinks. We love them, as deep down we have a gambling imp that's pulling all strings to convince us that TODAY is OUR lucky day.

Get over yourself. The lockpick was only one OP complaint. Maybe it's a bug, maybe loot table changed. What difference does it make any way? There is a use for lockpicks. They may be common but not worthless. Learn to read yourself.

Did my 2nd day's L50 Provisioning writ and got the usual tired green recipes from the Craglorn crafting writ tables. Why am I going to the lagfest and crafting station crashfest that is Orsinium to do supposedly higher level crafting writs again? My sanity is screaming for the old Craglorn writs until this broken loot table mess is fixed in all the highest level crafting writs. Unless of course I find I'm forced to do these Orsinium writs by the game.

They have not responded at all.

Here's an interesting factoid about Provisioning writs. They're all labeled as Provisioner Pack VII. Every last single one of them. Every crafter I've talked to who does the Provisioning writs is only getting Pack VII. Every player that I've talked to has all received the same old green recipe, Colovian Ginger Ale. My third Provisioning Pack VII also contained ANOTHER FLIPPING LOCKPICK!

ZOS, it's time to at least acknowledge that there is a problem with the Provisioning Writ loot table. Once this disaster is fixed, having a Provisioner hireling send us the correct items from the proper loot table would be appreciated, and the right thing to do.

I got a page today. If you are lagging around close your client and re-open, looks like the got a memory leak again.

Lagging doesn't break a loot table.

Look at the bright side, now you can lockpick a chest and have a chance to find something there

Vet dungeon loot is bugged as well, so I would imagine this is also a bug.

Writs are worthless now. Utter crap. You now need to grind V15-16 mats for them (granted, just 1 item, but still...) and they still give you next to nothing. If you're doing top-level writs, you don't NEED the inspiration. They give next to no money or XP. And I did all writs every single day since IC came out and only have 3 glass motifs, 1 of which is a duplicate. You're better off grinding gold to buy the odd temper than doing writs. I think I'm done with them.

Well I did my first Wrothgar writ today, got the typical Provisioner Writ boring stuff and a green recipe I didn't have. So at least there wasn't a lockpick in there! LOL But yeah, it hardly seemed worth it.

All kidding aside the absolute worst RNG you could get for a Provisioning Writ is all White Materials and a Green Recipe. If a Lockpick is appearing in the mix then yeah something is off. 'Tis a work in progress though, and fixes shall be made in due time provided Zenimax keeps getting feedback like this!
