ESO Plus = Bait and Switch?

I have not been receiving crowns with my ESO Plus subscription. I've attempted to contact support via the support page numerous times and have only been acknowledged by the auto-response asking for details. One week after providing those details I still have not heard anything from the support team.
Worst part is apparently I'm not the only one! What's the deal?

Starting to think this needs to be elevated to a legal level...

    Threatening legal action is going to get you nowhere. It took me almost a full month to finally get my crowns that were owed to me the first time. It's going to take time. It took me a week or so to get my ticket escalated to an investigation team who gave me half the crowns I was owed about a week later, then when I told them I was owed 2 months they asked for the proof that I already had provided again.

    I have to open a ticket every month.

    This is annoying yes, but easy to do.
    1. Open ticket and wait for a response
    2. Send screenshot of proof that PSN or Microsoft has billed you. Included in the screen shot needs to be email addressed and gamer tag associated with your ESO account.
    3.Send a email once per day and ask for an update.

    You will have your crowns in 1 to 3 days.

    Took two days in October to receive them.

    If you are not getting them you are probably not sending the correct information, also keep in mind the helpdesk did not design the game nor withhold your crowns. Be patient and polite and you will get them in quickly.

    I'm starting to suspect it's a back door way to make people cancel their subscription so they have to spend more on buying Crowns for game content, including the DLC you get free access to. It's strange how for months it worked fine, then pretty much as soon as IC came out it started having problems. Let's face, from a business standpoint, what makes more sense... £9 for a subscription giving 1500 Crowns and free access to DLC, or making people pay for those same Crowns to get access to content and DLC. The answer is obvious if your eyes are on the £$.

    Has nothing to do with mounts. It has everything to do with the companies business practice. perhaps you are not familiar with legal issues or just don't mind getting screwed over by businesses with dishonest practices.

    Here's a definition for you.
    bait and switch
    n. a dishonest sales practice in which a business advertises a bargain price for an item in order to draw customers into the store and then tells the prospective buyer that the advertised item is of poor quality or no longer available and attempts to switch the customer to a more expensive product. Electronic items such as stereos, televisions, or telephones are favorites, but there are also loan interest rates which turn out to be only for short term or low maximums, and then the switch is to a more expensive loan. In most states this practice is a crime and can also be the basis for a personal lawsuit if damages can be proved. The business using "bait and switch" is an apt target for a class action since there are many customers but each transaction scarcely warrants the costs of a separate suit
