Play Maelstrom Arena on Normal mode as a Vet rank?

Is it possible to play Maelstrom Arena on Normal mode as a Vet rank? The info said that Normal mode was accessible to players of any level?

Think you have to open the group ui and set dungeon difficulty to normal.

On PC the default key to open the party screen/group finder is P - press that, and at the top in the middle you should see "Dungeon Mode" with 2 settings represented by different shield icons. Select the mode that you want before entering the dungeon/trial. (If already grouped this is set by the group leader, when soloing or if you are leading a group (or using group finder to specify what mode dungeon you want to group for) you set it yourself).
