Revamped Group Finder

I just finished a dungeon using group finder, my character was a lvl 41 dps, there was a vr16, vr5 and a vr2 i think. Anyway it was not nice for a lvl 41, even with the extra buffs, there was no way I could do the dps of a real vr16 without the gear and points, so it took quite a bit longer to do, but no one moaned I might add.

So I have been trying to think of a good reason for a lvl 41 to be killing things miles above their lvl just to end up with the same lvl 41 items, XP and gold that I would have gotten from a lvl 41 dungeon, which would have taken a lot less time.

The only person that I can think of that got the right things was the vr16 through no fault of their own.

Just paused for a moment , but nope still can't think of a good reason.

BTW the grouping tool did work before, but thanks to some people telling others it was a waste of time, the word spread fast that it didn't work and finally people didn't even bother trying. When I first started playing I got told by at least eight people it didn't work and I asked if they had tried it, no was always the answer, after all bad news spreads like lightening.
Barbed wire has so many uses. Please bear in mind I have writing Dyslexia & I use Grammarly to help me type.

You need a better build. The new battle levelling is amazing. Some of us on level 44 stam builds were able to reach 2.8k-3.1k weapon damage.
Haven't managed to get my spell damage on sorc over 2.4k yet, but I haven't spent much time playing around on it. Will look into that one tomorrow.
It's now possible for us to get closer stats to VR16 than it ever was before.

Your gear and points all get scaled up to the same amount of a V16, as was everyone else's. Check your character sheet next time. All your stats are higher, proportional to where you have your attributes spent.

There were multiple tests performed where four people at the same level with their roles correctly set would all queue up and still not get a group. I personally ran group searches for hours on end over the course of many months and got a group exactly once since the LFG changes in 1.5, and to add insult to injury it found only 3/4 group members.

I have not tried the new one yet today, but reports are that it is consistently finding people groups. I don't care if it's sacrificing people to Molag Bal on the back end, if it's finding groups for people then it is a massive improvement.

This is probably the exciting thing for me on this update.

Group with people consistently, then enjoy dungeons.

Games are meant to be played.

Back in Auriel's Bow 1.0, I have thought that the best way to handicap a faction with the HUGE pop advantage is to temporarily disable their grouping functionality and their ability to fight in 3rd person point of view! Let's see if these do not even up the odds.

I actually got the new LFG tool to group me with a buddy of mine from a different faction. Twice. I had 3 people in group, started the group search for a specific vet dungeon at the same time as my buddy, and in under 10 secs we were all grouped.

Would still prefer it if I could just invite him to group directly, but it's a start.
