WebGet request failed

Seems I and a few other folks are getting this annoying error where the patch download stops, says WebGet request failed and I have to manually pause the donwload and push resume for it to continue. I tried the tips from general help, like runing the game as administrator and I run virus/malware scans today, all clean.
Any other advice please?

While we have a large number of players attempting to patch today, there may be odd erros. If you can give it another try this evening or tomorrow if you don't want to sit and manually push it through, and let us know if you continue to have this error, we'll be sure to forward it to our developers!

i am still having this issue just bought the game but cant seem to download or update the game because of this error

This error occurs for me 100% of the time when I'm downloading a patch going all the way back into closed beta. I have followed every single suggested solution (ex. Opening up specific ports in my firewall, disabling my firewall when patching, running as an administrator) and nothing fixes it. It is significantly more annoying that the loading screen bug because it forces me to sit in front of my computer for however long it takes to download the patch.
