Fortified Nirncrux (when to use?)

Simple question for most of you I assume, I'm just about to craft myself a new set and I wonder wether I should put some Forti. Nirns on my armor as a magicka Sorcerer DD. I plan to craft Nirn destro staff, but not sure if I should put one Nirn on armor as well.

I currently use Boundless Storm at all times, getting my resistances and defensives up to around 17,5k - 18k, but I won't be using this anymore with the new gear, so how is it with Nirn usage?
If you'd need any more info on my character's stats, let me know which, I'll provide.

Thanks in advance

edit: I agree with you all, I was actually just thinking of putting Nirn on smaller pieces, so that I wouldn't sacrifice that much on big infused pieces, but I'll just stick to Infused big pieces, Divines small ones.

Today we make our stand. Today we take back the Ruby Throne, which is ours by ancient right and the blessings of the Divines.

No. No point. If you are a DD then infused plus divine on smaller pieces.

Only nirnhoned staff pays off. Unless it's resto staff, then precise.

As a Magicka Sorc, Nirnhoned armor is now useless. You'll be using damage shields for defense often which receive no benefit from spell and magicka resistance.

Your best bet is Infused on large pieces and divines on small pieces or divines on all 7 pieces depending on which sets you're using and what your goals are.

Depending on builds, I think best traits for dps are all divines or all divine on small pieces and the rest infused (head, legs chest)

Some guild mates and I were discussing using Nirn this weekend and the consensus is it seems to be best to put Nirn on one piece of armor, but after that no real benefit.

I have been disappointed each time I put Nirn on a weapon, I prefer sharpened myself. Maybe it's better to run Nirn on a weapon, it just does not seem that way.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Sharpened is best for stamina and Nirn is best for magicka.

Armor is kinda useless. Weapons are good though. As a DD, your armor is not going to be high to start with. Adding a little extra spell resist will make very little difference. Infused makes a big difference though.

Some people use a heavy chest piece and put reinforced on it, which can help if you are a bit squishy. But overall, at or near endgame I recommend infused on major pieces and divine on small pieces.
