ZOS, Please No More Group Play Open World Zones

    Aside from the Temple and Arena boss fights all of IC is a piece of cake to solo (referring to the quests). I did it with half of my action bars full of crap skills I was still leveling. There are lots of players more skilled than me as well. ;)
    Semi retired from the trading aspects of the game.

    Just to add, if anyone has not tried soloing the sewers and various mobs topside whilst doing IC dailies, the exp is legit! T.V. gain is better and you can save up all those drops to deconn for v16 mats.

    I can, and have. I was in vr 12 gear and vr 16. Sorcs can shield *** or crit heal through it. Templars can stabby or simply heal through it. magicka nightblades and magicka dragonknights could pass this using the same tactics above. Stamina based nightblades and stamina dragonknights probably wouldn't be able to get through it because of the lack of self-sustain. and at the time I had 225 or so CP

    The one i was talking about is when you meet with the surviving imperial loyalists soldiers and help them fight off waves of legion zero and xivkyn. I forgot which district.

    Really confused here. Are you stating that you cannot kill the open world mobs solo, or that you can't complete the GROUP dungeons solo? If its the case of not being able to kill the world mobs solo - you need more practice, new gear or better skill rotations. The mobs in Craglorn and IC are easily taken down solo. Perhaps not the bosses, but they're not meant to be soloed regardless.

    I read through your previous posts so I'll just leave this little nugget here;

    VR16 Nightblade - All VR14 gear, 320 CP.
    VR16 Sorc - All VR14 gear, 320 CP.

    Can solo all solo content in IC and Craglorn.

    Nevertheless, I believe there needs to be more difficult open world content than less. There is simply no open world content that is not able to be beaten solo in this game anymore (despite a few IC bosses). People have posted videos of themselves beating group dungeons solo, if that doesn't scream that the content is too easy I'm not sure what will.

    @JaJaLuka you can just invite 3 friends to join group with you, stand on the stones and press the switches - they don't have jump down in the water hole with you ^^ It's very easy and solable by most.


    @failkiwib16_ESO The last quest in lower craglorn however needs them all to have that quest open and up to that stage to activate those torches and the last quest in upper craglorn can't be done without that one being complete.

    Craglorn open world is soloable. But not all the delves in Upper Craglorn. Skyreach Catacombs is pretty hard with 3 people. Trials aren't possible.

    However, I disagree on removing that content. I just wish Adventure Zones could always be raised to the effective level cap so they can always be done. I hope Craglorn will experience Battle Leveling so resurrect the area from what it has become.

    will do that I should tell you that I can solo fungal grotto and spindleclutch on this character haven't tried the others yet.
    For a medium armour NB i suggest having a 2 hander on 1 bar for soloing with rally, vigor and brawler on. That coupled with the heal from mark target and you will have no problems with the mobs in either area. I know cause my main is a stam blade and he is my crafter so is regularly grabbing nodes in upper crag.

    I have. It wasn't easy. Sorcerer with pets though. Wouldn't want to try Defending the three doors without help again either!

    I kinda have to agree but at the same time, I wish there were some really big, badass, 15-40+ man open world bosses that roam around and drop epics.

    Gotta agree with this.

    Either ZOS need to make most of murkmire's questline soloable (Leave the delves as public dungeons, just don't have any quests leading into them) or they need to make it like (most of) the IC questline so you can sneak around the difficult parts.

    I completed most of the IC questline by avoiding mobs and sticking to the shadows.
    Desperate for Roleplaying servers to bring open world non-organised RP to Elder Scrolls Online. Please ZOS.

    The issue is that some people want to finish certain content to get achievements but the mechanics of that content force you to get a 4 man group. other than obtaining achievements the content in craglorn is not rewarding enough for people to want to come and help you if they already completed that content.

    So what happens is lots of people just ignore that content knowing they will never finish it due to some stupid 4 man switch whilst they are strong enough to finish the content solo or duo. Which is a shame, because the content is very good

    I personally wouldn't mind if they made it all exactly the same as craglorn- except take away the limitations for having to have 3-4 people. I've been able to solo a few of the quests even at VR9, but I needed others to step on switches :/

    You must solo every quest in ic with a nightblade. If a group runs in while you're fighting either a boss or group of mobs, that doesn't count.

    O and one more thing. You must have less than 300 champion points.

    Did that with my back then vr9 Battleleveled Nightblade, except temple and arena i did it solo.

    Oh yeah, keep forgetting about the CP's, but nontheless, difference even base stat wise is a lot larger between V9 and 16 from gear alone than from CP's. Even v16 player with 0 CP would be stronger than a v9 with 300 CP's, the quality of gear obtainable is much, much greater than the amount of that which CP would provide. Even something as simple as the willpower/agility etc jewlery is a massive hop forward (yeah it's obtainable at any level, but lets face it, how often do you see it... Nobody hands it in at lower ranks).

    TL;DR CP does help, but not to such extent as leveling/gearing does, it's a bonus on top, but not your main way of progression.

    This is what i already do with my nb. Problem is, with the heal and shield nerf in pvp zones, rally and vigor are pathetically weak in ic, and the shield from brawler breaks with 1 light attack from a mob. Even when i hit 5+ mobs with the shield, the pvp shield nerf makes it pathetic.

    Try it with your stam nb. I believe the area with the waves is nobles district. It's where you turn in the legion badge key for endirance set.
