Worn out armor

What happens when your armor is completely worn out, other than the fact that it's AR also goes down to zero? Is it my impression or your character plays as if wearing no armor at all? I'm on xbox so I can't see any numbers but I have the impression that I am not enjoying any of the light armor passives. Is that the case?

If left damaged the AR will drop to 0 and the value is also 0 upon losing all durability. Beyond that I once lost a piece I unequipped while it was damaged when I was going to deconstruct it because I didn't need it anymore. If you happen to notice any change in your stats that your passives provide when your equipment is damaged then apparently broken armor does impact the passives but otherwise it does not. Long as you keep your equipment repaired all is well though :)

Yes you lose your armor passives at 0 durability until repaired again. You can feel it in your magicka regeneration when you lose all your light armor passives, and can even see it on PC when viewing the character screen. (magicka recovery lowers)

When an armour piece has 0 durability:
    - you will get 0 armour rating from it
    - it will not count towards any passive that give a bonus for a special armour type equipped
    - you will no longer benefit from its enchantment

Set bonuses work and only them counts.
No armor, no resistance, no traits.

I don't repair and do PvE with my armor broken all the time.

One thing that hasn't been clear. If a piece is st 60% for example do you only get 60% protection and boni?

    A bit more.
First 20-30% of armor "consistency" you don't get any penalty, after that it's linear to zero.

I would greatly appreciate some visual clues. Kind of "wounded skin"...
