Unlimited mining exploit?

Ok, I heard 2 different people advertising that they would show anyone a spot where you could infinite mine an ore node. One guy wanted 20k another 10k so this is either a new exploit going around or a new way to scam people. This was on ps na. Has anyone heard anything like this?

One should ALWAYS check the forum to see if the new exploit is legit before paying to learn how to do it.

There have been nodes in the past that insta respawn, it still may be a scam and also considerded exploiting if you take part in such activitys.

Every once in a while, a Harvest Node will be set to instantly spawn and this is what they are talking about. ZOS almost always finds these and fixes them, sometimes without an update or patch.

Besides, for 10K, you can buy a 20,000 Iron Ingots in a guild store. Do you really need 20,000 iron ingots?

Not checking to see if it's legit just letting you guys know what's happening. I couldn't care less about it. 20k is nothing. If I was worried about it I would have paid and seen for my self. I just thought I would put it on so that if it was a scam people wouldn't fall for it.

No, no one needs that many, but that's not the point of the node. The point of the node is the potential tempers that would come from it.

I would rather farm in zones 9 and 10 where I can pick up hundreds of raw mats an hour and have something useful left over when I was done.

We are talking about an instantly respawning node wich could net 3-6k raw mats an hour. The amount of tempers from that far out way the profit you would receive from 100s of raw mats from a vet zone. Like I said though, this is probably considerd to be exploiting to ZOS so I wouldnot touch it unless you don't mind risking a ban.

Nodes do that insta respawn thing at times, but methinks this is some low-lives just trying to take a few gullible players gold.

At one point all of the jute nodes in Stonefalls were bugged and would instantly respawn. There were armies of bots farming them 24-7, typically 4-6 at each node. Some of us used to pull netches on top of them to slaughter them with the netch poison AOE. Every so often there would be an announcement across the screen that a GM was in the zone to smite bots. You could whisper the GM to let them know where the bots were, and you could sit back and watch them get smote or smitten or whatever the correct word is.

Well I have come across some extremely fast respawning nodes for everything (chests included), so this isn't far fetched.

I had an ore node that I got from a writ in Wrothgar on the PTS respawn 3 times one right after the other.

The next time I had a map from writs and went back to the area it only spawned the one time like it is supposed to.

Im willing to wager that there isnt a location at all and that they want players to part with their gold for this nonexistent nod. Much like players advertised Vampire and WW bites and took off with the money without biting anyone.

Here's a tip to avoid getting scammed:

If someone mentions something that could easily be exploitable (duplicating, "infinite nodes", etc.) that could easily make anyone go "hmmm..." and the best thing to do is demand proof it's true. If they agree to give proof but charge you for it then it is obviously a scam. They will take your money, log off, and do their best to ignore you when you address them about it.
