There are hints (e.g., in Skyrim's Markarth-based quest for the Sybil) that there's some sort of convergence between sexual stimulation and moral virtue, but the details of how that can occur have been elusive. Maybe TES6 will clarify this matter. Rub-a-dub-dub, say something charitable? Pant, pant, oh sweet Dibella, give some of my money to the poor!!! (Gasp.) Naah, it's got to be more tasteful than that. But let's face it: given the nature of the reflex action involved, there's only so much you can do in the direction of dignity, yes?

Yeh, but there's supposed to be something reverent and spiritual about it, too. Finding a rationale that combines worship and "getting off" might present a challenge to TES writers, who have so far made only vague allusions. Hand-waving and innuendo. Maybe that's for the best. Anyway, weren't there religions in ancient times that had temple prostitutes, supposedly holy women doing their jobs for the glory of Apollo or some such god? It was Apollo in The Iliad, if I remember correctly.

Dibella is a divine, not a daedric prince. But both divines and daedric princes' domains overlap a lot.
