Drain Power

So, the Nightblade ability Drain Power (in Siphoning). I have a question about it, and Google's been no help.

Does the ability heal you? I know there is the morph that heals allies (which I would assume means healing you), but I'm not sure about the other morph. Does Power Extraction heal the caster, or just Sap Essence?
