What to do with collectible items?

I got some items labeled as collectible. Nothing happen when I double left mouse click on them. I googled and someone said they will be added to the achievement list by destroying them?

Could someone please teach me what to do with these items?

Vendor them. They are now added to your character's collectible achievements when you loot them, and you do not need to press "use" any more. They can no longer be banked either (so if like me your first character sine PC launch was your achievement hunter, it's a hard grind and a few will be almost impossible to get) so their only use now is vendor trash.

So what do you do with these "awards" in the meantime? They are worth nothing and occupy bank slots or bag space that is needed for -useful- items. I cannot find any way to keep them in the game.

By the way, I do not remove items from my "collection" of pets, costumes, etc. for the very same reason. As long as they are shown on the collections page, they don't occupy any storage space. Horses and pets aren't kept in bag or bank storage anyway, but just about everything else requires it.

The idea of a "homestead" is interesting. The fan-created DLC for one in "TES V: Skyrim" was interesting but I found it a bit buggy.

The Elder Scrolls series is known for being buggy. 'Tis tradition.

Well, I won't have anything to decorate with. I destroyed all my Green Quest Trophies. I kept them for 6 months, about 45 of them, and when the promised mechanism to store them without taking up bag space did not happen, I went in and marked them all as trash and threw them away.

I have also given up on collecting the Blue ones since we can share them with an Alt anymore.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

You know what would be cool? Once player housing becomes available if we were able to display collectibles on shelves or glass display cases

And then as per the Thieves' Guild DLC other players can come try to steal them :p

Haha nooo not my chattering skull! If they let players do breaking and entering they should let homeowners set up home defense systems aka fire traps, spike walls, and poison darts

You can rage about getting them on an alt instead of your main character who's been chasing them for over a year and not being able to transfer them via bank like you used to.

I have sadly destroyed most of ones with no value, or sold the ones worth a few coins. If we had crafting bags and all my storage space wasn't dedicated almost exclusively to crafting mats, I would have kept them all. It always made me a little sad having to get rid of them strictly because of storage crunch.
