Yeah, cant CC beak Power Bash/Reverberating Bash half the time, even at full stamina. It's bugged and imo common knowledge, among PvP'ers. Most noticeable from the guard NPC's in Cyrodiil, unintentionally abusing it lol.

Also a decent amount if cheating stamina NB/DK's using sword&board exclusively to abuse the skill. Screw Fear, when you can have 2 seconds unbreakable stun

Wait, so this works on the bash players use too? I've never tried because the skill looked worthless, but if it's a non-breakable CC I'll be slotting that one on my DK tonight.
Don't judge me. If the bug is so old they haven't bothered to fix it, then it's technically become a feature.

It's rather funny - every time they bash me and I hit the floor, I do imagine them saying "STAY DOWN, BRO. JUST F'N STAY DOWN".

Power Bash is meant to be a long-duration disorient for 1h and Shield users similar to that of skills like Agony or Rune Prison. It's pretty costly in Stamina Cost and not all that powerful (you could do more damage just spamming regular bashes lol) but Reverberating Bash does reduce healing the victim receives for a bit so no doubt some people can find merit in it.

As for me, I have never really encountered any enemy that uses Power Bash except for the Skeleton in Valanir's Rest in Grahtwood. It hits hard, but doesn't stick me in disorientation that I cannot break free from. Perhaps only PC is bugged?

So far I've only noticed it from NPC Guards at keeps in Cyrodiil. It's literally impossible to break free, so you're just on the floor taking heat from Guards and enemy players.

I haven't actually PvPed since IC so perhaps that's when it slipped in? Funny no one has reported it already though until now...

I was trying to solo a resource in cyrodill at 40 or so % hp when suddenly I died. On my death recap Reverbrating bash dealt like 13k dmg to me and I have no idea how.

They buffed the snot out of the NPCs at resources and keeps.
Those mage guards can hit me a football field away while I am in stealth with a staff fireball I would love to have.
Then when they get pressed they just reset to insta full health. lol

Really? I've never had a problem with Guard bashes, the only problem I've had with CC is the Total Dark the mages in Cyrodiil's keeps & resources cast on you.

Pretty much this if you block the powerbash you won't be CC.

Most powerful cc in game most definitely has to be random out of blue "load screen" no telling when you can break free.

That was the original cheesy way to be a PvP god, way back when the game first came out. Shielded Assault -> Power Bash repeatedly until dead. You literally could not do anything about it. I though it was fixed a long time ago though.

True, I do block them a lot. But if you're huddled by 4 guards and don't see that bash coming it's a little different.

Not sure if it was fixed. I will be testing today. Did it work with the unmorphed version of reverberating bash?

As far as I was aware the original issue when the game came out was not the skill power bash it was just a regular old shield bash combined with the passive deadly bash which at the time increased the damage of bash attacks to stupidly high levels, video of what it was like below.
