This is one of the reasons I'm against class changes. I can imagine people switching, then realising they didn't like the class and start moaning on the forums for refunds because it isn't what they expected it to be.
That, and the fact having alts would become redundant when you can just change every aspect of your character (attributes, CPs, skills, morphs, class).

I'd actually make your Imperial Templar a Stamina Templar (good both as DPS and a Tank) and the Altmer a Magicka Templar (good as a Healer/DPS), they're both interesting builds and it still doesn't prevent you from rolling a Nightblade as your third character.

Well if you're running Stamina there are some skills useful there as well. I honestly don't think I know a Templar that does not run Puncturing Strikes and the morph Biting Jabs runs off Stamina. There's also Piercing Javelin with a Stamina morph called Binding Javelin. That's all I can recall off hand.

Yes i know all his stamina skills I have 2 templars but what i'm asking is, is stamina templar competitive in the metagame?

I'm not a fan of the metagame personally but I firmly believe anything can work if you're willing to give it the chance to and both learn from and grow with it. Experimentation is key! Either that or you can resort to the same cookie cutter builds everyone else probably uses and "hope" they work out for ya.

I don't have one, but Stamplars are pretty good from what I see. Being an imperial one isn't a bad thing.

99% of people would be the strongest class of that update.

Count me into a member of the other 1% because I made my characters exactly how I planned to from the get-go and nothing will force me to regret it!

Some people prefer their money others prefer their time. I personally prefer my time and am willing to pay money to save time.

I did the quests and story already and repeating it isn't fun, besides leveling is too slow. So changing a class will save me time that I can use earning CPs instead of leveling a new character.

Also about the guys saying class change doesn't happen in other mmos, true. However Wow for example has a character boost option so even I i want to reroll I can get to max level instantly so no need for class change. Eso doesn't have that option.

I wouldn't mind a character boost option either

When the changes with IC took effect and my NB quit doing any kind of appreciable damage no matter how I work his Skills, he has since become a VR6 Crafter and Crafting Mat mule.

It's all he's good for mow, Zeni; since he can't kill anything more than 1 enemy at a time...

Seriously, they need to reverse the IC changes, maybe I'll be able to play that NB again.

Some people are crying "OP!!!!", but I know that my Magicka NB can't kill any mob of enemies more than 1 enemy in size.

Essence Drain for his Vampire skills has been made useless, they have no appreciable AoE Skill for crowd control, no appreciable healing (the entire Siphoning skill line is a joke for healing), and I really don't enjoy the idea of being pigeon-holed into playing one of two Stamina-builds when 2/3 NB Skill lines are Magicka based.

All of this leads to months of building this NB up and getting him to VR6 just to not be able to play him anymore because he just can't get anything done in the game.

I'm upset.

weird I remember this poll of the most OP class and magica NB got the most votes, but maybe that's in PvP I guess.

I'm also against a class changing possibility. That would destroy so much diversity. All the 99% would change their class to the strongest one. The 1% play their chars particularly to enjoy the game and the char they created and put time and effort into him/her (That's what ''roleplaying'' means for me!).
If you aren't satisfied anymore with your char because you think you can't handle lategame-content than you should live with your decisions (and class/race selection is one of the biggest decision in a rpg) and learn from your mistakes and create a new one. If you want to play endgame-content you should be able to spend time into it to play it effective and the same in preparation to your ''lategame char''. But when you say you dont have much time why you want to play RPG-lategame-content then?

Now it's people crying about Stamina NB using/spamming Wrecking Blow that people are crying is OP. Which is one of the two Stamina builds that I refuse to be pigeon-holed into using. I built a Magicka NB, most every NB Class Skill is Magicka based, I need to be able to use a Magicka NB.

And since IC, Zeni's changes has made that nigh-impossible.

I do fantastic end game with my nord stamplar. As an imperial, you should do even better. Good survivability, great dps, I add a great deal of versatility to the group. /endthread?

Good to know, could end thread, but i wouldn't mind knowing more opinions about classes so I don't make another mistake when making a new character.

Currently leaning towards a stamina imperial nightblade.

It does amaze me that this wasn't planned for the Crown Store from day one. Class and race changes, barber shop and guild name change would have raked in more money than some of those over priced mounts.

Wait, what?

We have Sap Essence that outclasses Impulse spamming on DPS and Breath of Life when it comes to healing on larger trash-packs. All that in one skill and you say you can't kill more than 1 mob? If that's true, I wouldn't admit that publicly but trained more with my character as it is, indeed, one of the most powerful DPS archetypes nowadays.
