Emperor should be reset daily

My reasoning for this is simple. The system is designed, or at leaat seems to be, catered to no-lifers. In my current campaign(Skeleton Key), the current emperor had about 120K points 2 days ago when I started playing in it. The next day, his score had shot up to over 312K! How is that even possible? I'm not a big PvPer in ESO; I only nust got into a couple days ago. When there's someone who's able to get nearly 200K points overnight, how can anyone who has a job or school and such be expected to even have a slim chance, especially when the people like that will just keep playing since they have nothing better to do?

Normally I'm one for letting things play out, but after 2 days 2hrs of a red emp and still 6 keeps controlled, I'm down for this idea

To be an emperor ingame you need to be jobless in real life

It is very easy to rack up AP as Emperor. A competent Emperor can wipe small groups solo.

Honestly I think Emperor should just be a title and not give any bonuses. Players already get to that OP statues with out it but give one of "those players" it and they just become arrogant arse holes. Just look at the whole former emperor problem.

I have been emp twice while working full time and being married, and I am not that good a player just competent & persistent. And I am in a good guild who were willing to support me when I had positioned myself with enough AP.

If I can do it anyone can if they try, it won't happen the first time nor is it easy... nor is it meant to be easy.

So don't call for people to be punished for playing well, raise your own game... put in the time... and just accept that if you are not willing to try then maybe you simply will not always get everything.

If you have a good guild you can make 500,000 AP in a 6 hr session during prime time. Would be even easier on xbox as a lot of the player base are new to the game.

Emperor isn't meant to be something anyone can get, only those who put the most effort in.

Nah, emp and former emp should both get buffs. i mean a lot of effort goes into getting emp, it should have rewards. the fact that former emp no longer gets any buffs is the reason getting emp myself is no longer a long term goal of mine. not worth the time and effort in it's current state.

and no, why would emp get reset every day?. that makes no sense.

Emperor is hard to get, but you absolutely do not have to be a no-lifer to get it. Easy-mode Emperor is to home on a campaign that resets frequently (7 day is best of course), either gank or guild your way up as soon as the campaign resets, then have your guild or 20 friends grab the ring keeps. Bam, dunski. You need to plan it out, get support early (like a week before the campaign actually resets), and then go for it in a legit concentrated effort, but it can be done in less than a day, to be honest. If you are not confident that your guild can help you get the right amount of AP in one night, or that you can't get it on your own, then yes, you're not ever going to be able to get it, but it's very dishonest to say that Emperor is only for no-lifers.

Just because you're married and have a job doesn't mean you can't take a couple of weeks off work and ignore your wife while you play video games to become emperor.

200k ap is easily gainable in 4 hours of playtime on an active canpaign with the right group of people.

Agreed. That's why I don't care about Emp status. I actually enjoy sleeping, I love my bed, sorry.

Why should it be wrong to have one thing in this game centered around the more hardcore players and not the casuals?
And 200k is not really a lot and easily gainable in a few hours of efficent playing. At least for the more dedicated groups of PvPers.

I think at the end of every campaign the campaign should be reset to default, that way every campaign has a fresh start and every faction has the same chance at least at the beginning, but of course with the huge faction imbalance it would most likely turn out the same way, but at least for a while could be some good battles, maybe.
