Wolf pet was just confirmed on the ESO Livestream!

So the wolf pet was just confirmed on the live stream by Tatiana! Pretty awesome that its coming, but no date as of yet!
What are your thoughts on the pet though?

I'd like a wolf pet and a wolf mount! My bet will be they will be coming on the new DLC or shortly after.

Id like to see some more variety in the typical pets and mounts area. I want to see something interesting for Bosmer to use. Horses just wouldnt be very practical for how small Bosmer are and for the dense forests they live in.

They also mentioned about making pets more unique and have more personality. So they might be working on extra animations, still hoping to see pet races

Mount seems cooler, maybe if it were more like one of those daedric summons where it would actually Attack.

I would like more Pets (and Mounts) that i have to work for rather than buy in the Crown store.

It is awesome trying to work for the Hoarver and the Stonefire Scamp - more of that please!

Personally, I don't like non-combat pets that look like they should be combat pets.

Weird having a big wolf following me around who is just chilling out while I'm in a fight.

Plus the pathing for pets in general is not the best, they don't really look great following you around. More awkward lol

Perhaps, but with the lava horse, its kind of similar, so they may not.

I think they said it was a husky not a wolf. I would love a wolf pet and wolf mount.

I'm all for more wolfyness to lure out my crowns... both in pet or in mount form (my main character would love to ride a pitch black direwolf... just sayin, ZOS... )

If pets actually served a purpose , maybe it'd be something to get amped about. Until then they're just another unnecessary waste of both time and money.

I'm only interested in pets, mounts, costumes when they are rewarded for certain achieves... the only thing I would ever buy in the crownstore would be an Echatere Mount

Meh, give me some cool Mount Visuals I'll buy them, or later when they add Housing, I might buy some cool housing related stuff too, but no money from pets from me. Speaking of Mounts I'd buy is probably some Daedric-Shadow-mount.

Yeah it would be nice if my pet had saddle bags and could carry things for me since they never want to attack anything. Let them be useful in some way. I would rather then carry my loot than to attack anyway cause I doubt their damage would even be noticeable.

I always think it's awesome when we get new vanity items - it just adds to the game's atmosphere when people have different mounts and pets, instead of everyone running around with the same three ones (thinking back to PC launch days...)

But I prefer mounts to pets, as I notice my mount more than my little pet running behind me. But still, wolves be nice! (Stille waiting for more senche pets though....)
