Light armour

So I have made the decision to move from heavy armour to light amour, I am a high elf dk vr 10 so figure this could be a good swap!

I am going back to use a destruction staff but just wondered if anyone could tell me which sets would be best for me to craft? I am level 45 on crafting and have 6 traits on each item so far! I will be looking to get more traits done so feel free to say what I should be aiming for!!

    Same sets you would have crafted with Heavy.

    But, if you don't have Light Armor skilled up, then put the Training Trait on several of the pieces so it levels up at a reasonable rate.

    As magicka based damage you have the following options,

    Magnus
    Eyes of Mara
    Seducer
    Torugspact......

    3 of the 4 should be craftable by you..

    Seducer, then start looking for Warlock or Magicka Furnace jewelry when you hit vet 1.

    I've got a sorc who despite being Vet 2 is still using much improved Necropotence stuff (she loves her familiars).
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    I run seducer 4, magnus 4 until vet 14, then throw in some martial knowledge.

    Great for levelling.

    If you're playing a lot of pvp. Maybe run two torug's, two seducer and 4 magnus for a bit more spell damage.

    Its important to remember that most spell dmg comes from jewelry enchants and the thief mundus is the best option for magicka dps specs.

    Jewelry enchants: 3x spell dmg
    Mundus stone: Thief

    Your gear should provide enough regen to sustain, the other set boni can be spell dmg, max health or max magicka.

    If you go 5x Seducer you get 2x magicka regen and 8% cost reduction which is more than enough to sustain in pve.

    For v14 I would suggest:
    4x healers (3x jewelry and 1x light armor)
    5x seducer
    2x torugs pact
    PC - EU (AD)
    Septimus Mezar - Altmer Sorcerer
    Septimus Rulanir - Orsimer Templar
    Septimus Desmoru - Khajiit Necromancer
    Septimus Iroh - Dunmer Dragon Knight
    Septimus Thragar - Dunmer Nightblade
    Septimus Jah'zar - Khajiit Nightblade
    Septimus Nerox - Redguard Warden
    Septimus Ozurk - Orsimer Sorcerer

    Or you could have regen stone or regen enchants...

    Healer's will cost you a lot from stores.

    Craftable is the way to go until 16, then have a look at adding dropped sets

    Hey don't forget Soulshine at V9-10. Great set you can pair up with something else for leveling and it is cheap. I upgraded mine for leveling and used it tell V14 combined with Phoenix.

    5 Heavy/2 Light is viable with magika enchants, and the right set.
    I switched over to Elf bane for V16 so keep that in mind for Magicka/Destro/Restro.

    Thanks for all the help! I think I am going to run with a mix of seducer and torugs pact and see how I get on. I have already switched to the thief mundus stone already .

    I just need to make a decision on what jewellery I will put on but I'm thinking having spell damage again seeing how that works out for me!

    There is a lot of trial and error to go through I'm thinking before I get what suits me the best

    I've two willpower sets.

    Spell power enchants for pvp, regen for dungeons

    also remember that your attributes play a huge role in the damage you put out....

    More Magicka = Higher damage..
