If you want to get better at PvP, get out of your comfort zone.

Saw a few posts asking for tips on improving at PvP. Probably the best advice anyone will give you is what I was told way back when I started. "Lose your safety nets. Don't be afraid to die, and just fight a lot with minimal help. Push your limits, and they will steadily rise."

Stop with the "lfg" every time you go into Cyr. Stop following pug groups. Find a few friends to roll with, preferably some who are better than you. Roam around everywhere, and try to do small group fights. Die, and don't let it bother you. Watch Youtube videos or talk to better players than yourself to learn mechanics, and then just practice.

Back in the day all I used to do is shield charge into a zerg to see how long I could survive, then try and beat my record next time making adjustments to my build and how I played.

I still fondly remember taking six members of Aldmeri Vice onto the all blue Hova/Kami chillrend and taking outposts and resources battling down 20-30 blues and farming massive AP on a daily basis. We all knew we would never get far, sometimes we even got a keep or two, but never had a prayer of really accomplishing much else. But the battles were glorious.

That was when I "really" learned what I was able to do. Those days are the fondest I have for ESO PvP. There were good days before, and good days after, but those were the best.

Sometimes get a lot of flak for running in bigger groups now, but i grew up a small group player like so many others.

many people at zerg dont like play like that i though, but they have no other chance, if dont have gear and passives already. If they are not grindy type they will never get what they need. So ease the grind, fix champion system and there will be less zergs

The grind isn't too bad honestly, and cp are being capped.

I don't even roll in groups anymore; I play solo, helping in sieges and the like without being in a group. Most people nowadays expect others to blindly follow the crown without question, and will kick you if you question anything being done.I have seen a group leader give the same command over and over and over with the same exact result; defeat. I would try to offer suggestions, only to be shot down with crap like "if you don't like it, leave" or "if you don't like it, you should take crown" and other criticisms that i simply had no patience dealing with. this happened CONSTANTLY to the point I abandoned joining groups.

Wanna get better? DO NOT roll a "FOTM build" or whatever one prefers to call it. I hate to break it to everyone reading, but the NB cloak is not as OP as most of the people on these forums make it out to be, neither is fear nor uppercut. these require strategical use, and blindly following these builds will result in you being torn apart by literally everyone you face if you are not in a 24 player zerg. I am not saying do not look at builds suggested by others; people like Sypher offer great ideas im sure. what I am saying, is, in the end, do your own thing. What works for Sypher may not work for you, and so on. Experiment and find what works best for you.
