Whats a good high elf sorcerer build?

Hi could someone recommend me a good build for my sorcerer I'm currently veteran rank 4 and struggling with the quests due to low dps and no critical chance. Help

There are tons o builds.

If you are worried about DPS, I would suggest crafting armor with divines traits and use thief mundus for crit chance, couple with innerlight you're sitting pretty much at 50% with light armor passives.

Im sure you'll get a lot of responses with specific builds or to be told that tamrielfoundry has a big list of builds.

But they are so unique that you gotta decide on what you want.

There are builds trying to maximize magicka pool, or crit chance, or spell damage. Mostly the deciding factor being armor.

So whatcha wanna do? Sustainable damage, high burst?

I just want to be able to do this veteran stuff and have better dps in dungeons

Oh in dungeons. Well that's im not too versed in. I'll just lay out my dps build and maybe it'll give you a few ideas.

Its a dps focusing on crit atm. Vet 13, high elf, sorc

Bar 1:
Ult: overload
Crystal Fragment
Velacious Curse
Hardened Ward
Tangling Webs (i personally use shadow silk morph)
Innerlight

Bar 2:
Shattering prison
Dark Conversion
Either bone shield or harness magicka (really any ward dependent on what dungeon ur doin)
Daedric Tomb
Innerlight

Overload bar:
Hardened ward
Power Surge
Boundless Presence
Streak
Innerlight

I use tangling webs because sorc has no real good damage instant cast. Combined with ward and velacious my rotation almost always procs frags.

Atm my crit is 52.5, green armor, duel wield swords. 5 set seducer, 4 set magnus (can change with better armor)

Im about 2 cp points till the +12% crit rating passive.

Its a PvP build (if it was PvE there would be Liquid Lightning) hope you can get some ideas

Cool, im sure you'll tweak and find things you enjoy more.

Here is a few hints for the build. I always attack NPCs to have a full ultimate. Pop overload, buff, go back to bars. When they reach approx 30% health, i pop back in, streak and light attack as a finisher.

I use shattering prison as a resource drain on my opponent. They always roll etc out of it taking valuable stamina.

I went with the Tomb instead of minefield because with this im really offense orientated. The straight line makes it act like most range attacks, and combined with shattering can be really annoying for your opponent. (This is PvP, in PvE ill run prison with liquid to destroy mobs)

Dark Conversion in this build does two things: one is both my opponent and I are on low resources, use this twice and you can continue the attack while they have to wait seconds for the same.
Two: dark conversion + ward = invincible unless they can deal more dmg than the ward is worth per attack.

Just a few hints i can think of i gotta get back to work lmao
