On the Crown Store will be included new Halloween costumes "lore friendly" ...
There will be changes in the game as a holiday event?

Witches Festival was a week ago... 13th of Frostfall. No official events occurred. None that I'm aware of anyway.

I wouldn't hold my breath for anything during Halloween. Crown Store items are likely all we will get.

I know, Witches Festival was the 13th October, I think Zenimax prefer to follow our calendar and holidays rather than the Tamriel calendar.
And I ask you, what do you prefer? Holidays events or Lore Calendar events?

Apparently, hundreds years before the events of The Elder Scrolls 1 ... 5, the Witches Festival was later in Frostfall. What probably happened was happens is that a pesky Emperor was is born around Witches Festival and they moved will move it so that it would does not distract from the Emperor's birthday celebration.

That would be a mistake on their part, then.

I think it is wrong to contaminate the fantasy worlds with real elements ... But what about the Tamriel calendar? For example, what will be right to do the Evening Star 25th?

Lore here. Aside from being a bit of a lore junkie, I prefer not to have every website and game all have events at the same time, which is what happens when they follow the real world calendar. Give me something to look forward to in the off-season, Zeni!

And this isn't so much of a problem around Halloween, but around Thanksgiving/Christmas I'd rather be spending time with family. So real life holiday events would be wasted in my case anyway.

Well, it's said to be: a time of "gift giving, parties, and parading." they can go many places with that... including red & green clothing with bells.

The end of the year celebrations leading up to New Life.

Saturalia, traditionally held on the 25th of Evening Star. Originally a holiday for a long forgotten god of debauchery, it has become a time of gift giving, parties, and parading.

This is too obscure for ZeniBeth marketing people, so my guess is that they will have some new holiday that sounds a lot like Christmas with a shiny new name that will be completely forgotten by the time Arena comes around in a few hundred years.

EDIT: In another thread I figured that they would merge the two... call it New Life Festival (New Years Day) but add in the gift giving and parties with a Christmas twist and have it run the last two weeks of December.

    Fair enough.
If they were to do holidays my preference would definitely be according to Lore.
TES is one of the most lore-heavy worlds out there and to do otherwise would just be wrong.
Unfortunately, I'm sure if there's a buck to be made in it, it will happen.
