Bringing Tv stone mechanic to vet dungeons

So the idea would be that u loot stones from vet dungeons to spend on pve sets from a vender with random traits, these sets would be all the old ones scaled to v15/v16 - have it so u get stones from bosses and mobs but lose x amount if you die. These wouldnt be tv stones but a diffrent currency may spend x amount to change a trait.it brings back that edge to pve, it would add a risk reward to dieing - to stop stop farming make it full group only or dailies only.

Love IC and want to bring this system to the dungeons - i may be alone and this is from a pve tank focused player

    Nope. Keep derp stones out of my damn PVE!

    Make stones generate by PVP in the IC also. A true PVP reward system would have had something like get 20TV for PK + 80% of that player held TV stone. A true PVP system would also have had something like hold objective X for 5 minutes to open box with 500TVs in it. But alas the derp stone system is not a true PVP reward system just like the chump system was never a true progression system.

    Aren't Tel Var stones pieces of the Imperial City? I'd welcome the mechanic if there were some sort of explanation as to why monsters are hoarding Tel Var stones in dungeons... and I think it would require players to own the IC DLC.

    Some sort of token system for veteran dungeon runs?

    I could see that happening... at least for the monster armor pieces, collect endboss body parts, give to undaunted armorer, have them make your desired piece in your desired armor class... might be better then hoping the right thing will finally drop for you this time...

    As a general system? Hmmm... also possible I suppose... though considering how vexing the stone loss in IC can be if you try to collect stones... might be a lot of players would end up feeling unjustly vexed by loosing their hard won tokens, after all, not like you can blodport to bank them in a dungeaon run like you can in IC...

    What attracts me to Imperial City is the risk reward system, even as a tank i enjoy it - if a currency came to the vet dungeons with the same rule of if you die you will lose x stones it would add value to the game (im not talk TV stones - im talking a new currency).
    Now i know people will farm it but they do that in IC any way
