A needed console UI feature

I understand that it isn't a good idea to listen to all of the features that players request, but I feel that this is a necessary addition to the console HUD.

In the Interface options menu, you can toggle your ability bar to always show, show only in combat, or to never show. However, if you tell it to never show, you have the issue of not knowing how much ultimate you have accumulated. Since the compass that the HUD uses is pretty much the same one that Skyrim had, why not have those shiny outlines on it which indicated dragon shout cooldowns as an indicator of ultimate build up?

The cooldown on the compass seems like a perfect solution. There just needs to be something that displays ultimate build up available without the active abilities being displayed. Hopefully this could make it in with the Orsinium base game patch? Seems easy to add as well. That's all. Thanks for reading!

I like your idea but not your suggestions.

I'd like you to have more customization on your UI but not forced for all (cause that's how they do console changes)

Maybe just addPC like options give or take an add-on or two

@NewBlacksmurf The ultimate build up indicator on the compass would obviously be a toggle in the Interface options menu. I'm only asking for this because it's a crucial feature for those who don't want the entire hot bar taking up our screen! As nice as add-on like features might be, it isn't realistic to expect ZOS to make that happen. The console UI is awesome anyway

Would also be nice to see how much ultimate overfill we have. I never know how much time I have with overload
