What's up with CC breaking on Console?

Here's a list of skills that you literally have to mash the *** out of your triggers to break free:

1. Eclipse
2. Fear
3. Reverberating Bash
4. Agony
5. Keep Mage's Yellow Containment Field

Everything else you can tap your triggers once and it'll break free no problem.

I don't think I've ever got up from a wrecking blow

On the Xbone, wrecking blow is easy to get out of.

Crystal Frags is infinitely more of a threat but thats another story

I don't think the 24/7 never get up wrecking blow is possible that is apparently possible on PC.

Fear on the other hand takes a good 5 full seconds of mashing while at full stamina to break out.

To top it off...I have 42 points in Stamina and it takes me down to half my stamina bar breaking out of one Fear.

It feels like its not working as intended but I may be wrong? Maybe its meant to be the bane of all stamina builds and give magicka NBs a free kill on a after feared pretty much defenseless enemy if they use stam?

Streak is an odd one, it takes 5 seconds sometimes to break out and other times I near instantly break out when mashing.

One thing I do know is that it tends to happen when I need to break out of a stun the most which only adds to the rage.

• Streak - 1.5 second stun.
• BoL - 2 second stun.

Insta proc Crystal Frags are hard to dodge, but like anything, spell projectiles end up missing a lot when people dodge roll. Blocking removes the knock down all together and lowers the damage. If they do knock you down they grant CC immunity. Wrecking Blow on the other hand can be almost impossible to dodge as (In my experience) unless broken doesn't grant cc immunity leading to a follow up hit.

ZOS needs to make CC break continue to attempt to break-free every 0.2 seconds until CC immunity is granted. Currently if the break-free attempt fails you cannot break free again until the current duration expires. Fear is also notorious for causing break-free to fail. This has been a major issue for a long time now.

You already know what I'm going to say here... ffs. CC Immunity is so broken on consoles, it makes me wonder if they even know about it at all because they probably don't have people testing bugs on consoles, or something.

Breaking out of fear is a nightmare.

Nah the one where it completely disables you and your character is forced on the ground.

You mean it wasn't intentional for CC to have a 50% chance of being unbreakable?

Seriously, NB fears you have to mash the triggers for like 4 seconds to have a chance of breaking it, reverberating has a 0% chance of breaking

I find activating synergies much worse.
Activation: Triangle + Circle
What Most of Times happens is, im dancing around to Get The Chance to activate and mash those 2 buttons.
What happens? Im activating abilities all The Time and waste ressources (or even streak into a crowd of enemies accidentally) and still No damn synergy activated...

My Suggestion: Holding touchpad to activate (you cant activate mount in Battle anyway).
Or a way to Change combo (Maybe 1x The Button to Change from 1st to 3rd Person and make that an temporary Option in Settings instead).

I Never had Problems with ult dropping, there is nothing(but light attack) mistakenly, which doesnt Cost ressources, or did I Miss something? ^^

Yeah, this isn't Warframe, ZOS won't optimize the dualshock4 to use the touchpad since it would go against making their console UI as absolutely generic and pointless as possible. The fact that you can not only use the touchpad but map it in Warframe just shows the difference in what actual controller support looks like.

Even on PC, fear is the most frustrating to break free of all. I can break free from a WB while in mid-air, but fear? Nah, never.

Transferred from PC.

CC break was much easier on PC. Took me a quite a bit of time to learn that the controller is messed up trying to hit the left flipper and right at the same time...

Found that using left then then right works really well. There is a slight delay in breaking fear. I think everything else is related to all the lag.

Still hate synergies and accidental ultimates from mashing buttons too fast...

Never had a problem with ult until this weekend. No clue what's changed, but I struggled every time to drop it

What annoys me the most is trying to break free but since it's the same button as block, all your stamina gets drained blocking while you try to break free if that makes sense, lol
