Guild Trader Question?

so my guild leader has asked me to find out more on how guild traders work he said he put 20k into a bid and the bid ends in 3 days but how exactly does the whole guild trader system work and how does the bedding process work???

also are some guild traders cheaper than others or are they same price?

Yes, but why would you want to visit the trader when as a guild member you can access the guild store via the banker in any EP town (in fact all banks outside of Cyrodil)?

The point of having a trader is so that guildmembers can sell goods to players who aren't in the guild - all guildmembers can access the guild store at banks. 3rd option on the menu when you speak to a banker is "Guild Store".

EDIT: But yes, if you have a trader it is there for all players, DC players will see it in their first zone, and it is the VR1 zone for EP players doing Cadwell's Silver, and the VR6 zone for AD players doing Cadwell's Gold - they will all (and every level of every alliance in between) be able to buy from your store via that trader.

But guild members do not need to go to the trader at all.

yes you can, and you can go to bank to see it as well.

if you're on ps4 you can expect to need about 2 mil for a trader in mournhold while in areas with less traffic the high bid could be as low as 1k. Heck you might be able to get some for 1 gold.

The traders are hired on a blind bidding system. If the 20k bid your guild leader put on that trader is the highest bid this week, you guys get to hire the trader for this week. If it isn't, then the money gets put back in your guild bank.

Each gold can only place one irrevocable bid on a trader at a time. You can up (and possibly down?) the amount you bid on that trader, but you can't change your mind and place a bid on a different trader.

Now, when the bidding closes on Monday morning, any traders that have had NO BIDS on them that week can be hired for 100g by the first person who comes across them (provides they have the proper Permissions within their guild).
