New Cyrodiil PVP DLC

Hello i would like to discuss future content for Cyrodiil maybe a new DLC Dedicated to the castles and the cyrodiil war :)

Recently I have played Guild Wars 2... and although it has its flaws but the PVP is almost the same... If not better slightly than ESO Cyrodiil Campaigns...

Now I'm not saying elderscrolls is bad I love it just I think a few changes could be in order :)

Castles Upgrade Merchant

So let's start of with the castles... Ok so far the castles all look the same... coppy and pasted... How about we have a few NPC dedicated to keep upgrades... For example when you capture a keep and claim it a new NPC called castle upgrades or something will sell things for your castle...

- Banners These banners can be purchased for 20,000 Alliance points. they will then be displayed on your keep/castle that you have claimed ans they will show your guild symbol/emblem what ever you call it for all to be seen.

- Wa ll Upgrades These upgrades can be purchased from the merchant and have 3 levels of upgrades... The lowest offers the lowest protection... While the level 3 upgrade offers the best protection... When they reach level 3 upgrade you can then add extras to it for example mounted oil pots and mounted turrets that fire small balista bolts and spikes on the outside of the walls that deal damage to people when they get close. However these upgrades will cost stone... (A new currency I will explain later)

- Gates Now these gates like the walls have 3 levels and can also have upgrades just like the walls but instead would cost a new resource called wood (I will explain later)

- Barracks The barracks upgrade is an extension to the castle that allows the captured keep to upgrade and purchase soldiers for the keep. You can purchase more guards add patrols around the keep and purchase guards to protect your resource caravans (I will explain later) you can also purchase and upgrade the weapons and armor of them as well as pick the class and type you want for example mages rogues warriors ect.. They would require two resources... alliance points and food (I will explain later)

Now these are only a few out of thousands of upgrades that can be purchased from the merchant but I will leave it as thst for now :)

Resources

Now as I mentioned earlyer there will be a new currency Stone, Wood & Food. Stone is required to upgrade and repair walls and anything made of stone. Wood is required to repair anything made of wood like doors and level 3 walls and other stuff. Food is required for your troops and to maintain them and keep them and upgrade them.

Now how to get these resources? Well you capture the mines... lumber mill.... and the farm... Now what is diffrent is that every 10 minutes each location will send out a caravan with 1 guard these caravans will travel to your keep and when they reach it will give you resource/currency to spend on upgrades.... However... These caravans can be raided by the other faction and resource will be carried... like a scroll to their keep or have the option to just destroy it so you can't get it

To protect these caravans you can use the barracks to hire and upgrade your guards to protect them or protect them yourself the more cravans you save the more resources you got to upgrade your keeps :)

Now there is a lot more I could say but I think there is way to much in my head to get down on paper so I will just leave you with a few ideas here and I hope you guys like them and tell me what you think :)

    Honestly, it's a neat idea but unnecessary in this game. They already have a system that upgrades walls/NPCs, and they just implemented a new currency (tel var stones). I do think you could spin off your original ideas to something like adding a "champion" into each keep if its held for a long time, but it'd have to be simple. The caravan idea, i'd like to see something similar but in way of like those travelling siege merchants rolling with caravans and have a chance to drop good loot and coldharbor siege weapons.

    I actually like all of this. It would add a whole new dynamic to Cyrodiil and make it more of a game within a game. Mini games are what it is all about if you want to keep players coming back! ( monster arena ffx )

    There's no money in pvp they will stick to pve DLC's. I just wish they would add arenas before they forget about us.

    I doubt it would take very long to impliment as it is not much to do I think so it could be a nice quick yet really fun dlc :)

    For me, the biggest let down in PvP at the moment is, when you break down the doors, you just stand next to a flag, im sorry but thats just weak.

    In DAOC they have keep captains etc... just add in a bad ass npc mob that needs to be killed and can randomly drop pvp loot, atleast then you feel like you achieved something..

    I doubt they will add anything similar within the next 12 months or so but well, hope never dies...
