Add anonymous polls in game?

So lots on times there are suggestions or issues made here that we can't necessarily say will reflect the majority of the players, because im sure 1% of us go on the forums.

So to get better feed back from the players, why not add an in game poll?

Maybe have it pop up when people log in or give it its own little section in the options menu.

Most polls take less than 30secs to answer so I doubt it would be a big deal. Just to be safe, after doing it a few times see if people like the polls with a yes, no, and an alternative solution, so if people like the idea but find it kind of annoying, maybe they would be open to an alternative solution so it won't annoy them.

Maybe even give users a slight reward for voting, and those done (if yiu decide to give a skip option...)

I just want to give an example of an in game poll, dueling on all plat forms and text chat on consoles have been highly requested on forums, so that would be a good poll to ask the players to see if it should be added.

Besides things from the forum...obviously it would work in favor to help ZoS for their own personal ideas.

I do feel that ZOS could use in-game to better gather player feedback but personally I've noticed that polls are often times mis-interpreted.

I'd rather see the questions with n/a, more than likely, less likely, frequent, always, never

Ya know the surveys with 5-8 bubbles per question as they did with us in beta but instead of via email, maybe an in-game (optional) mail that uses a link to a webpage as all PC and consoles have a web app now

For completing said survey maybe award each account with X amount of crowns

In game polls would be limited to "Would you buy a fancy pony from coldharbour ? Very inclined to - Not very inclined to - Neutral - would Not be inclined to buy it" Kind of questions... we really don't need that.

Maybe an "Type in the next 10 lines what you thought of this story line, and mention issues you may have found with it : ....." would be nice, but then again, people just grind and skip content while rushing to endgame.. so yea. we gud as it is. All we really need is the LOL button back, so they can identify the raging children from the community and set those apart from the actual constructive criticism

Definitely in-game would be more representative. I kind of like NBS' idea up there, certainly the reward would help.
They would need to be professionally done.

Anything would get better feedback than player made polls and however they get the so-called customer input they have now.
I still don't know who they're asking about some of this stuff when they claim to be doing it because of "customer feedback". Certainly has never been me.

Until they decide to add text chat on consoles, i think its kind of impractical because no one will have a keyboard plugged in ao more people will skip the poll or even complain about it.

Add an in game poll

I'm completely fine with the idea of a polls, but for the sake of tasteful presentation I would expect for the said poll to not be so "in your face" about it. Just keep it small, quaint, maybe tucked over on the far side of the screen. Plus maybe the option to hide or otherwise reduce it to toggle so that it doesn't clutter up the screen every single time.

Polls have a tendency to be just like advertisements in that they can be incessantly annoying to certain players if not handled with care.
