Weapon swap and ultimate points

Hello everyone,

I just want to find out basically how spending ultimate points or swapping weapons effects the use of two different ultimates. Does each hotbar have its own ultimate consumption? Or do they share the same ultimate points? If i use the ultimate on bar 1 I assume It consumes all ultimate for both bars and so you cant use 2 two different ultimates one after another?

There is only one pool for Ultimate points, so triggering an Ultimate on one bar makes it empty for the other bar, too. The only(?) exception to this is Overload, a Sorcerer Ultimate, which drains points over time instead of all at once.

Overload is also the only ultimate where it matters if you load it to 1000%,

But yes one pool of ultimate and when you use it, it is gone,
that is why you need to watch it and use it when it gets to 100% and not 200%,
You don't get extra damage from a 200% ultimate,

Also i always have an ultimate that uses a little ulti points and one that uses a lot,
As a DK you regenerate your health, magicka and stam when you use an ultimate so having a low ulti point ultimate is key to survival..

For my vampire hunter build. I use Soul Harvest and Clouding Swarm.

I go around killing vampire's until I have generated enough ultimate for bat swarm, then use bat swarm against none vamp's and repeat the process.

I think it's a good idea to have one ultimate for single target and one for AoE. Give's you more variety on how to approach fight's.

Your question has already been answered above. However I would like to add that you can benefit from any passive's one ultimate may have (such as Soul Harvest or Flawless Dawn breaker) and have your active Ultimate on your back bar. Since I have Soul Harvest on my front bar, once I switch to use Bat Swarm then go back, any kill's I get during the swarm grant's me 10 Ultimate. If you include the 20 Ultimate gained per kill from the Alliance skill tree, if you kill 5 people you basically get another free bat swarm. Nice little synergy there.
