The ones that dont respond and dont have a * must not be active

It gives specific days.
Send a message on the console, not game mail asking if they plan on returning prior to removing them.
*I don't consider guild specific activity as this level of management seems to fall under micro managing players.
Whatever works for you...but my thoughts are to keep it simple.
If you need to remove someone due to overall space....rethink how adding players to the guild is handled as 500 ppl is a lot but based on the time of the OP post, it sounds like there are other issues if you're having groups of ppl in question of removing and don't know if they are active or inactive.

On the PS4 you do have such a profile too, but as a user you can prevent that all people can watch it.
Seems this would not work for me.
For me personal, the issue isn't an issue yet. My guild is rather young, most members are still active. But it can be an issue when we reach the 500 members cap and we would have many members who stopped playing.
I want to see if there’s a nice solution before it’s an issue.
It can change very fast as well. I know already guilds on the console with 100 or 200 zombie members. These Guilds are only 3 or 4 months old. In a way it’s creepy. lol

Does the PS4 friends list within ESO not also list the exact last time each person played ESO?
(You would need to add them which may be an issue for PS4 as Xbox one just requires that you follow them. They don't need to follow you back)
If this isn't available on PS4 ....IDK, maybe there are other ps4 specific ways to better determine a players game activities
