I've just created one and I noticed every one of their class abilities is Magicka-based, are they originally meant to be Magicka? I was under the impression that NB's are Stamina-based by default for some reason...
I guess nearly all of their abilities have a Stamina morph?

✭✭While nightblades have more stamina morphs than other classes, it is still only a handful, albeit pretty good ones. Check any recently updated skill planer for details.5 -

✭yeah, and the stamina ones are the "enhancement"morphs (power up old effect or just gain new ones in addition) while the magick ones can change the effect completely EX Lotus Fan. many siphoning moves are better with magicka regardless hence why magick NBs are beeing called OP (work on that one trust me
). also all ultimates are always magicka based #toomuchmagicka. regardless there is always at least one move where the opposite morph is the much better one and with ambush for magick builds it may be better to not morph it period. PS4 NA

No, Ultimates scale of either magicka + spell damage or stamina + weapon damage, depending on which one is higher. The only advantage magicka users have is, that most ultimates deal magic or elemental damage, so they benefit from cp in thaumaturge or elemental expert.3
