Cheapest recipe/s to level up alchemy?

Hi folks, was wondering if someone could give me an example or two for the best recipe to level up alchemy, as in cheap materials + easy to procure

For me it was easy to level up with the Drinks (level 5 recipes are a pretty short grind) but using higher level recipes gain bigger jumps of course.

Tawny Port is a great example Level 15 drink requiring Yeast and Metheglin which are plentiful.

Same goes for the food side ...

What recipes do you have so far? (level 5 and up)

Cheapest way to level Alchemy is to make things with Mushrooms. Those give negative effects for the most part, so grind them up grinding up the skill. Note, Namira's Rot has use, so don't grind with that one.

Negative affect items are VERY] useful if you have maxed out "Laboratory Use" and "Snakeblood" .

In my personal experience I tend to end up with a ton of luminous russula, blue entaloma, water hyacinth, and wormwood so for leveling I make restore health with the first two, and weapon crit potions with the second two.
