As a NB healer....

I have been trying different ultimates and such but I do like consuming darkness, especially when you have a solid group that knows that they hell they are doing. I was doing Soul Siphon but I didn't like how I was still left vunerable, yeah the instant heal was nice for the group, wider radius and a strong HoT, but nothing for me. Now as a healer should I choose Veil of Blades or Bolstering darkness.

i reckon bolstering darkness is more of an off heal thing and you'll get more use out of veil of blades

I use Soul Siphon on my main bar and Veil of Blades on my secondary bar. Both are amazing ultimates for a healer. Soul Siphon is arguably the best heal in the game, still think it should heal the caster though.

If your group is getting low, pop Soul Siphon followed by Healing Ward. Because you're the one not getting healed by your ulti, the ward will go to you.

I use the ultimate soul harvest so that my ultimate goes up quicker, is it really worth it or should I just use soul siphone and veil of blades. I always felt I used one way more than the other so I ultimately felt the one least use was a waste, which is why I put the soul harvest so I could get the one I use most up faster, is that a good idea?

Its up to you on the soul harvest, honestly. Are you getting the kills? I recommend veil of blades.

Anyways, if you are interested in a little pvp, warhorn and barrier are also good ultimates to look into.

That makes me question, do I personally have to kill the mob, or like in other games if I have partaken in the fight in a way such as healing does that count as a kill for me? I don't know in this mmo, if me healing or throwing a dot on a mob doesn't count towards the kill then i will obviously take it off.

Soul Siphon is allowing me to heal 22000 points in four seconds right now at vr4. Seems really effective for me. On my other bar I use Bolstering Darkness since I'm primarily a tank, just with heals on the backup bar.
