Personally I would love it, ESO seems way too cutesy to me, and always has done for a long long long time, and merely hints at darker undertones with the proverbial razed villages, or w/e..
They just want the game available to as many as possible, cant really blame them.

Aye but they already have an M rating, that wont change. AoC is rating M and has those fatalities + full frontal nudity.
If you had a bit of imagination you'd know that implementing this amount of gore/blood would turn the whole PvP into one huge red screen.vegeta0585b14_ESO wrote: »Think TESO ever plans on adding kill moves like Skyrim had? Age of Conan has them and they're AWESOME.

Either way I will say what I said then: It will be very easy for someone to gank you in Cyrodiil while you're stuck in a killcam moment, among other disadvantages.
That could be part of what's released with the brutality pack ( concept here http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/222351/brutality-pack-concept) but there is some concern with the timing. would players be invulnerable while they perform kill moves?

You're immune and get a neat buff, it's a crit change type thing in aoc.

And yes, that vexes me too, I mentioned it in the other thread, we wouldn't even need finisher animations, it would be enough to add death animations for weapon kills, which would ve possible using the very same mechanic as the fatality animations for magic critical kills that are already in the game...
Of course, there are a lot more corners of the game that might benefit from being "grittied up" with a bit of pixel bloodyness.
Yes, and naughtyness - I always like it when games don't just touch upon adult themes as eso indeed does, but also dare to show a reasonable bit of it. "Show, not tell" as Sheogorath so aptly mentioned. Age of Conan had their limited nudity, and a few quests that kinda felt like there ought to be more to them that the developers just didn't dare to touch upon... ESO has a few quests like that too where reading between the lines you can guess at something deeper. But I guess that is a iffy subject among game developers.. anyone remember the Mass Effect thing and all the misinformed outrage from... people I better not describe any further as to keep within the forum rules?
In any case, I would like to have things like that in my ESO, and I for one would certainly buy any "brutality pack" if they made that option available...
Nope, it wasn't. I preordered the game for the relase back last summer, and there is a "Rating:16" on it... it only went "M" with the 1.6 patch and justice system. There even was a pop up message back then where you had to reaffirm your committment to the game and the changed rating as I recall...vegeta0585b14_ESO wrote: »ESO was M on release due to violance and depicting decapitation (heads on pikes, etc)

The rating bumped from Pegi 16 to Pegi 18 with the justice system, however the esrb rating has always been 'M'.TheShadowScout wrote: »Nope, it wasn't.
