Right from the get go I would like to make my intentions and goals clear: What I am looking for is any advice on my character that would improve it and also remove anything obsolete or wasted. I want to make the most out of my character for what I do.

So what do I do? Well this is my main character, I do not play PVP yet, however, my build has been developed with a little bit of PVP in mind. Basically I just play quests at the moment, but I like the idea of having a stable all round character.

This is my first proper MMO, (I played a little bit of Guild Wars 2), and so I had to learn as much as I could about the terms and mechanics in ESO.

Originally I was running with all heavy armour and 2H weapon. After asking on reddit and here, I eventually found out that I would do better by focusing on stamina and damage, changing my skills to suit, and using medium armour. (Originally creating a tank build but was not playing as one) Now I'm more damage based.

So before I get to the stats below, just keep in mind that I'm still new to this and learning as I go. I'm trying to improve my character so it can work in most situations. I am not a hardcore PvP'r right now.

I also know little about how to focus my champion points, so I will cover that last. Any advice is welcome and appreciated!

Character:
Dragonknight, Nord. Vr5.

Attributes:
7 points in Health, 46 points in Stamina.

Skill Bar 1:
Wrecking Blow 4, Unstable Flame 4, Forward Momentum 4, Critical Rush 4, Executioner 4. Werewolf Ultimate.
Weapon: Greatsword of Ashen Grip.

Skill Bar 2:
Acid Spray 4, Magnum Shot 4, Lethal Arrow 4, Flames of Oblivion 4, Green Dragon Blood 4. Standard of Might Ultimate.
Weapon: Bow of Ashen Grip.

Armour:
5 pieces of Savior's Hide. (Medium) Helmet, Shoulders, Bracers, Belt and Boots.
2 Pieces of Heavy. Cuirass and Greaves of Ashen Grip.

I plan to upgrade all my Salvation Armour to the max level as soon as I reach it! I will also recraft my Ashen Grip 3 piece set once I'm VR10 or so, and then again at VR16. All my armour is reinforced except greaves which have infused. All armour has maximum health enchant, except helm and boots which have stamina.
I do not have a particular set of jewellery, but I heard that Agility is good?

Skill Lines:
All passives are maxed in the following: Ardent Flame, Draconic Power, Two Handed, Bow, Heavy (except Bracing), Medium (except Improved Sneak), Werewolf and Nord.

I do not use anything in Earthen Heart as none of the skills stood out to me as useful. Am I wrong?

Champion Points:
So far I only have 35 champion points, and have no clue how I should focus them at this stage. So this is what I have so far:

Warrior:
Steed 11 (7 Medium Armour, 3 Spell Shield, 1 Resistant)
The Lady 1 (1 Hardy)

Thief:
Tower 7 (5 Sprinter, 2 Warlord)
Lover 5 (5 Mooncalf)

Mage:
Apprentice 1 ( 1 Blessed)
Atronoch 8 (1 Heavy Weapon Expert, 6 Bow Expert, 1 Blade Expert)
Ritual 2 (2 Mighty)

I recommend using Obsidian shield until you can unlock igneous shield. If you use one Earthen Heart ability I recommend this one. Here's why. .. it gives a damage shield that increases based on your health. Whatever the tooltip value you get double that amount. Second, if you activate it while in combat you get minor savagery (5% weapon damage increase). If you activate it while gaining ultimate you get extra ultimate from light and heavy attacks. Also every time you activate it, it will restore 5% stamina. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, when you activate it you get major mending for 7 seconds which Increases the healing you receive by 30%.

Also for pve and pvp, I recommend flawless dawnbreaker it gives 8% damage increase. I also think 7 medium is better for regen. Would reconsider mundus stone as well... lord is great for tank, but warrior is better for dps. There is a stone for regen but I can't think of the name.

For gear you may want to craft Hunding's Rage as its better all purpose gear.

For CP, take the points from sprinter and put them into moon calf or warlord, running doesn't improve your combat, it's literally to help you get from point A to point B. It is a talent tree intended more for pvp where you may need to go from sprint to combat right away. Also mighty improves all skills that have physical damage.

As a general note, unless you have a good amount of crafting mats, I'd avoid going purple on gear until much later or preferably max level.

That build is completely out of date and does not work the way he describes anymore.

@hardcore_gmr Thank you for your advice! Igneous Shield sounds very good! Might replace Flames of Oblivion with that. Will reconsider Warrior mundus stone too!

Yeah I hear a lot of people using Hundings Rage, but I did like the 33% less cost for werewolf that Saviour's Hide gives.

Thank you for the info on the CP and also on improving items! Will save going purple for much later :)
